Evo Veteran Tips?

Hi Evo Veterans

I’m going to Evo for the first time this year. I’ve read the FAQ etc. but still have a question.

Is there anything I should know about the tournament / prepare beforehand etc.? In order to make the most of the tournament.

Seems like a silly question, but I recently went to the SXSW Interactive Conference in Texas, and if I had known what I know now I would have approached it in a completely different way to get the best out of it.

I have entered but I’m mainly interested in watching SSF4AE.

E.G. should I plan my schedule carefully ahead of time? should I bring my console? are their good TVs in the hotel rooms? is it packed? should I get to places early for a good view?

Any tips that come to mind would be great so I can make the most of the tournament. Anything that you wish you had known before you went the first time…

Cheers
Mark

Get in touch with someone who knows the area so you can find places to eat where you don’t have to pay $18 for spaghetti.

Thanks Zoolanderbeast. I imagine everything is super expensive.

You are authorized to consume alcohol in the public in las vegas so i highly reccommend you stock up on drinks if youd like to stay reasonably inebriated through out the day. thats what i do! or you can expect to pay 10 dollars for a beer at a bar. i dont think ive played one tournament sober lol.
