I really think this is a mistake not having mike ross on the roster. I live in THE DOMINICAN REPUBLIC and I know that mike ross is dominating the SF4 scene right now.
im surpised that a captain would pick all 5 of his spots, being that ur a regional representaitve u should at least have one spot open for someone in ur area that u dont know much about, or someone that can prove themselves. oh well, this just makes it easier for south east to take it…

I personally think the new blood team would wreck the OGs.
You guys realize there is a Wild Card team, right? That means people NOT chosen by their REGION reps will be placed on THAT team. It’s obvious Mike Ross is going to be on that team since he was not chosen for the SoCal team. It’s ultimately Valle’s decision, and if he decided to put his grandmother on the team, he has that right, but don’t be silly, he will be chosen for the Wild Card team.
I think the other thing of note is that ( and considering I am an arcade player, this means quite a bit ) , there have been no console tournament results in SoCal since the game came out in February, no major console results at all. All the new characters are not included. All we know since then is that Mike Ross won GameStop’s Atlanta region, and he did very well at Final Round. Nothing in SoCal was ever settled, and I can’t speak for Valle about this, but I am sure he’s taking console more seriously than arcade this time because arcade is a wash for this game. We all know it.
If I was captain of the SoCal team, I would pick the “best” players, not just the ones going to tournaments, and yes, I would pick Mike Ross to be on the team, but it’s VALLE’S decision, and again, Mike Ross WILL be chosen on the Wild Card team. You can bet that, people just need to respect that if he’s not required to hold a qualifier, he can do what he wants.
Ultimately Valle likes challenges too, maybe he wants to BEAT Mike Ross’s Wild Card team in the 5 on 5. There could be that reasoning as well.
