Tomo on team Wildcard showing us how TDR works
Heh thanks for the plug, man. If I recall correctly, of all the SF4 tournaments I’ve entered, and admittedly that’s a smaller number than most guys (a dozen maybe?), I’ve only finished outside the money 4 times. Three of those included my very first tournament, my first tournament after my initial extended 1-tourney-in-3-months hiatus, and my first tournament after my second 2-tournies-in-4.5-months hiatus. On the night of my first tourney after my second break there was a 2-man team tournament after the first tournament in which my team got 2nd. I’ve finished top 5 in every tournament except for my first one, when I still got top 8, so at no point have I ever finished outside the top 8. Starting this evening I can finally dedicate myself to Street Fighter, so I’ll be practicing up a lot from now on!
There are other guys I’d definitely put ahead of me, though. Imo Ken I is the best player in SoCal, so how he’s not on the SoCal team I have no idea, but he should for sure be on the wild card. I think a few other SoCal guys have good arguments too. I also really think other regions should be repped on the wild card team; I think 2-3 east coast players and maybe a Hawaii player should have legit shots at making it as well.
I’ll change my name to Mike to be on that team.
I think team wildcard should be the top 5 Hondas in the nation. There’s Mike Ross, and MrSNK (only other American Honda player I’ve really seen), me (I kid, I kid)…can’t think of anyone else. What other Hondas have placed well in tournaments?
Seeing Dagger G on the team would be very interesting, Guile needs some love in this 5v5…I just want to see a whole team of weird characters, like Honda, Viper, Guile, Dictator, and Akuma or something.

Yea, he actually lost the grand finals to another Sagat player (Combo Jack), so there will be videos of him toughing it out. And although Ironfist may have looked it, he’s far from a scrub. Ed was just on fire during that particular match and, scrub or not, most people would have ended up the same way.
p.s. Sabin, are you on the team yet? Is there an EC line-up set in stone?
Yeah I know ironfist aint no scrub didn’t mean to make it sound like that… He just made him look free in the video. Edma was beastly!
Because of the nature of my char I often get perfected too.
Right now the team for ec is me Justin joe marn. Don’t have a 5th yet

Besides him I like Mike Ross, and Ken I for that team. West Coast got a whole slew of other possibles (ComboJack, Kai, etc…) but I don’t many people would be happy if the wild card team turned out as WC 2.
This might be stupid, but does s-kill play SF4 enough to even be considered? He’d certainly be a wild card.
EDIT: Obviously if it were possible Tomo and Jeff should be there. win on legend status alone.
