Look forward to seeing Gorlab army vs. Tagas army. It shall be an epic battle. Whoever generates the most minerals will win.
I think the best idea is gauntlets. You pick a gauntlet for people to run through and see how they match up against different characters. Then you see who plays each character best (without stupid mirror matches), then you pick the characters on your team. That way you don’t leave off a good Gief player b/c he ran into a blanka in a tournament.
In order to try to participate, you must be nominated by x # of people. That way you keep the participants down to whoever really has a chance. B/c let’s be honest, if you’re good, people know it and will vouch for you.

In other news, IF Tx comes to this I’m sure our players wouldn’t mind challenging other “official” teams.
well you have all day friday to get the teams straight sabre, hopefully you don’t have to run 5 tournaments in the same day just to get your team straight on top of everything people are playing in the offical tournaments.

One big problem I see with picking this team is that we’re overloaded with Sagats & Balrogs. Floe = Sagat IIRC, Antwan = Rog, Ladymachine = Sagat, Humbag = Rog, Grego = Sagat AND Rog lol
Midwest has a separate thread going for their qualifiers, which are happening at MWC. If you arent going to both MWC and Evo, you arent really eligable to compete.
