Dear John Choi. I think it would be in your best interest to break the mold and look for a non “cookie cutter” player. A real tank, say, boxer or sagat, maybe even guile. Blanka would be a nice addition to the team as well because I think everybody is used to the same old same old, and Blanka is SUPER unique and its a completely different style. I wish I could qualify for the team, but I have no credit to my name.

Truth is Blanka is easily figured out and doesn’t have a lot of high-damage options, and he is weak in matchups against top characters. Although, I do think Blanka works better in a team setting.
But when you have someone like Filipino Champ who plays a character well, that truly hardly anybody plays, and who does fucking great against the top character in the game, you can’t really say Blanka is a better choice for this type of team. And Sim certainly is not the “same old same old”!

I’m not trying to talk bad about any of my fellow Bay Area Blanka players here, but the reality is that aside from just the bad match ups (every team is going to have at least one high level Sagat/Boxer…God forbid an Abel or another Sim), I also don’t think any of our Blankas are crazy enough to be an asset to the team. Aside from Hyro and Andry (one of which has moved onto Viper and is on the team anyways), I don’t even know of any that have placed very high at anything recently.
Again, not talking shit about my fellow Blanka players, but our games have to significantly raise before one of us could take a spot like this.

He is still an asset and can be dangerous I just have reach my full potential with him. Blanka is different in this game well SF4 is different. My opinion is Blankas worst match up is BOXER thats it everything else is doable:encore: Or maybe thats just me:razzy:
Blanka cant inflect lots of damage thats another bad thing with him so sitting on a lead is something I have to do(Something I struggle to do). Blanka is a above average character so in the right hands he will hurt anyone. So as of now I wont jump ship cause SF4 is still new.
