Not really sure why people have a hard time giving credit where credit is due. We should be glad new competition is getting to that level. I for one am fucking thrilled Vangief will be in top 8 along with Gamerbee, so it’s not a snorefest of the same characters. It was absolutely refreshing to see the usually calm and collected Wong visually shaken and beaten. Why do we want the same people winning every year? If my opinion bothers you, you probably like/worship Justin a tad too much. Hell, I love me some Kuroda in 3S but when he gets his ass handed to him, I’m the first one saying “Good shit!” about the person who beat him.
Your excuses aren’t going to get your favorite players back into the tourney. I say congrats to Floe for knocking out Tokido, Floe was the better player that time around. That’s why it’s a tournament, to see who’s the best this year, and why there will be another tourney next year to see who’s the best for 2011, and so on.
Same thing for Wong losing to Vangief. We complain about the same people winning these tournies every year, then when these dominant players get knocked out, all of a sudden it’s excuse time for why they didn’t win. How about he loss and not, “well the planets are close to aligning, the gravitational pull on the iron in his bloodstream made him almost faint mid match. So and so just got lucky”.

Marvel wasn’t even in the line up until blazblu guys dropped out because they were using CT instead of CS due to no console release.
Marvel was in the player’s choice poll though.
the point is mvc3 is the fucked up child of marvel2 and tvc. and the way the commentators were talking during tvc pools they knew their days were numbered anyway “with marvel vs capcom 3 coming out”
