They’re done via paper by each judge for each pool, and the people involved have other things to do. I’m sure if somebody wanted to donate their time to just post results, they could already be doing that. The staff has other things to be doing.
So yeah, there’s a couple thousand people that could already be doing this… but it’d be unwieldy/cumbersome as all hell, so it doesn’t happen.

According to my friends Neo (Soon Yung Yim) beat Ryan Hart first.
FYI Neo is from Alaska and he uses Juri. I don’t know if he’s switched characters at EVO, but he played Chun and Akuma in vanilla. He’s our last remaining player of the 8 that went. He beat Wolfkrone to advance to semis. I know the XBL leaderboards don’t mean anything IRL, but he’s near the top for Juri online last time I checked.
Too bad man. I enjoyed your matches as much as any of them. You had the best new character by far and the first time I’ve seen Cody played well. I was sure they way you were putting it on people you were in.

I gotta agree that we missed alot of good matches and the matches we got was like Alex Valle Vs 3 randoms, Jwong Vs a couple of randoms. I wonder how they pick people for the big screen.
How do they not show AndyOCR be eliminated, or Filipino Champ, yet choose to show JWong trashing randomers. Fucking boring.

Anyone know where I can catch the Sabr3 matches? I was really looking forward to seeing his Cody, but missed it on the live stream.
Clearly something better could be done. I mean, we saw Valle in this three times…we saw Hsien Chang on stream for what I think was 4 of the first 12 or so matches to go on stream. Meanwhile, 9 of the top 32 players we never saw on stream once. It’s not west coast bias, but it’s definitely imbalanced.
Laugh and Poongko went to Singapore last year and played in that tournament that Itabashi Zangief won. That was after Gamestop.
