There is a $2 entrance fee into the arcade. But besides that I don’t remember seeing any other fees. unless you enter the tournament.
Laughs, me teaching anyone who wants to learn IDv3 (Initial D ver 3) for free. Other then that, nothing is free that I know of, casuals I suppose.

Digi - If your offer for an entry fee waved for bringing a full GGAC setup is on, then i will have you covered for sunday. I’ll have a US ps2, US GGac, and a 13 inch flatscreen CRT on hand.
If someone knows how to live stream, they are more than welcome to do it, but I think it’s pretty crazy to want/expect live streaming for free for these types of events. I really think there should eventually be costs.
If you aren’t playing in ANY of the tournaments, and just want to watch, it’s $2 to get in the arcade, and nothing else.

Yeah people got to remember most places don’t stream. Streams have been really new for fighting game tournaments. Which isn’t too bad, because 99% of the time most of the tournament is recorded and put up online, it’s just not live.
You can stream it with your eyes if you travel to the venue and watch the tournament.
Im not against actual streams… far from it! But it does take time, effort, and money to do it right.
You are charging too much for a lot of your side games (for me to want to enter) Webby. 5 dollars is my limit for games I don’t play, and even that is a stretch.
I was hoping Garou and RBFF2 were gonna be played on the Neo or MVS. Ah well, just glad those 2 games are even included.

I’m not going, but you are kinda asking for a bit much for side tournaments. If anything, have people vote on how much they wanna pay. I’m sure you would’ve come to that conclusion yourself, though.
Well, I could try to setup a stream, but that’s only doable if Nickel City has an internet connection (capable of streaming) that they would be willing to let us use.
A stream would be hottest if you could do more than just feed from one tv.

ok, so if i come for hdr/sf2t i have to pay 10 for each plus 20 on top since this is my first tournament? Just wondering cuz if its going to cost me 40 bucks to play then i probably wont be going
It’s 20 dollars for the venue fee, and then 10 dollars for each tournament, so 40 bucks if you plan on entering ST and HDR. Plus it’s 2 dollars to get into nickel city.
I will not be providing a PS3 for the official event. I’m not going to risk anything happening to it by certain tournament staff as I was told that if I showed up to this that I would wish that I hadn’t. I’m not going to even guess at what that means, but I’d rather not put my system at risk just because one of the directors has it out for me. I’m just gonna pay the registration and tournament entry just like everyone else. On the other hand, we can use my setup for the HDR 5v5 quals.
