Shit. I was unsure if I had to work around that time or not so I was waiting for confirmation - found out yesterday I could register but I guess its too late.
No one to blame but myself, I should have just registered anyway. I thought “early” only meant getting the better deal. So, disappointed but not much I can do about it.

want dat money much. Way to go making it easy for people who have jobs that are hard to get away from. these 10 $ pass things is a awfull idea. Ive been workin doubles everyday for this only to find out i cant get a competitor pass!? Keep it up and we are all gonna start callin ya PZ Wizard over here!
P.S. If a bunch of missed this so called deadline maybe you didnt make sure everyone could see your so called warnings about it.
I would rather Evo sell spectator badges that sell out than getting turned away because of capacity. I’ll agree that the warnings could have been a bit more clear, but evo registration has been going on for months now. You really have no one to blame but yourself.
Okay, I mean if u have work during that time (July 4th-ish) or money is tight and u can’t register for EVO until now, then I understand and there’s nothing u can do about it. But if u’re willy-nilly about signing up for it, and now u’re complaining about not having a chance to go, then u have no one to blame but yourself. (I am not trying to flame, its just common sense)
The best way with situation like this is to Always Sign up for Evo first (like 4-5 months back), then figure out other parts (hotel, room, flights, etc.) later. The worst thing u will have is losing $60 (early reg) and can’t go, vs now where u can go but u can’t really compete in the main tourny, not to mention u cannot go into the main hall on last day.
But seriously through, being there on the first two days is an experience of its own already, so if u can be there at all, then its worth it.
BTW: MrWizard/Inkbot: Thank you for all the hard work, but is there any way to get enough chairs for the people with the Spectator/competator pass for the main hall for the final day? I dont’ wanna be a chair-stealing raider like what we did last year at RIO (still can’t believe part of my First EVO experience involve taking a chair and take up a spot at the main hall on final day
