I just realized that the actual line-up consists of the first seven games in my list (which was in order of likelihood), plus players’ choice. Also, this is an awesome line-up, and I like the way they are doing players’ choice (and the fact that they are doing it at all).
That’s more than enough to sink a game. Once a game gets hated by the FGC, it’s a uphill task for the game to gain respect. SFxT 2013 could be the best fighting game ever but that’s not guarantee that it’ll be better received by the FGC.
It would draw low numbers if Evo was like next month…but we’ll see. The game was too much of a melting pot and glitch bound on release but now it seems like it can gather more of an identity and not confuse people so much.
I like SCV, for sure. However, I don’t actually have people unlocked in it yet and I must admit that I feel the “replacements” for Kilik and Xianghua kind of feel “watered down” from their originals.
