Players Choice…and no Injustice in sight? Wow. I honestly didn’t see this coming. Once I stop being butthurt about no Batman on the main stage, the rest of the lineup and structure looks like fun! Last year was like a festival of all things fighters, and the lineup seems to reflect that.
Who am I kidding, I’ll enter the side tournament if I need to.
EDIT: Ok, so Injustice is in contention after all. Still looks pretty stacked though. I doubt it will make the main stage.

Wouldn’t EVO potentially get into trouble with Hasbro if they put that MLP game in its lineup? They probably don’t give a damn if a bunch of fanboys made it for fun and laughter, but putting it in a fighting game event could be a different issue especially if the EVO organizers potentially profit from it.

No MVC2 in that list is actually surprising. Not sure what to think on that or which one I want in most. I mean well, obviously aside from BBCP, but I don’t even know when it’ll be out so it might just come out the week before, so I mean other than that. I’m torn between SCV, 3rd Strike, CVS2, Accent Core, and DOA 5 (out of curiousity on having never seen competitive DOA).
Surprising…but probably a good thing. By the time we’d know what the 8th game is it’s unlikely all the old MvC2 heads could get into form quick enough…if they even cared enough to. Every game on the list other than CvS2 (Divekick and Injustice being outliers due to…you know, not being released) doesn’t really have that potential problem.
Why is it surprising? The list is based on popular vote, and it’s blatantly obvious that MvC2’s popularity in recent time is overshadowed by other games. Why do you think 3S is still being played in majors but MvC2 rarely is?
