I’m sorry but you are completely incorrect sir, SRK doesn’t hate KOF/SNKgames. Is not their fault that SNKP has not been able to deliver a decent KOF game or console port of it in the last few years. If you ask me KOF has the best chance out of every Non-Capcom game to be in the line up next year.

There is a bias from a lot of Capcom fans against SNK. To say otherwise is to deny reality. That said, XIII is good enough, and there is enough new blood in the scene, that it can be overcome, especially with Capcom having a sub-par 2011.
It’s going to take those two things I mentioned to pull it off: acceptable netcode+ some top players getting into it such as Juicebox.
KOF at Evo could be fascinating because it could be Latin America vs Asia on neutral ground, plus the drama of whether an American could hack it.
If Evo goes to being a Capcom/Namco only event, that could hurt its position as the national tournament. Definitely would hurt its credibility among fans of other games, which will be growing. The modern generation isn’t as rabid fanboyish about Capcom games as the older generation. It’s a new mentality, and a BETTER one.
I really don’t see how you could possibly come to that conclusion. It’s Street Fighter, it’s Tekken, it’s new shit, it’s got lots of hype because of all the characters and good gameplay people have been wanting to see

The soul caliber series has always had buzz at evo. It just the community for that game usually destroys themselves.

Evo should expand the number of games in 2012 to at least 7. 5 was ok for 2011 since this was a down year for fighters, but there’s enough good new games coming out, then 7 could easily be done.
