Team Hurricane Katrina?
Anyone have any idea on the attandance of each game? And what happened to Mike Watson and Jason Cole in AE? What about Combofiend and Ken I. in GGXXS? Thanks, and congratulations to all who placed well.
good shit, WC owning AE. damn japs still beasting in 3s :annoy:. anyway glad to see WC in top 8 marvel.
Man, what is with all the hate for the Japanese? I know that some are not on top of their game this year but that could be the result of jetlag; however, that did not stop them from previous years. Also, for those Japanese that were on top of their game, people are still complaining because the US did not own them. I mean, Daigo lost and people are making such a big deal out of it. What do people expect from a man who had retired over a year ago (after SBO3) and started training for evo for two or three months for four games? Daigo does not even play HSF2 and he made top eight. Give the man some credit at least. The results are very interesting and I hope to see the videos soon.
Congrats to Crow for winning T5 and Justin for winning MvC2, I knew you guys would win.
So did Capcom throw in that money they promised for 3s???
Not true. INH’s Hyper SF2: The Starting Over DVD completely disproves that. Get your facts straight.
Any results for side tourneys like XSF?
No news from DAN at cvs2 ?
He was on the list of the japanese players who will enter Evo.
He is a beast , who defeated him ?
Lol, I talked to Daigo privately for over an hour after the tournament (Thanks to NKI). The man did not quit a year ago after SBO. The truth is, there is real life and results, and the bs you guys make up in this forum. As far as the Japanese are concerned, Daigo is one of the best. I was truly impressed with his game play and how he handles himself as a champion. A real class act. I hope people are not hating on the Japanese. I myself am happier than anyone that we took HSF2 and did well in other games against the Japanese but I also recognize the event would not be nearly as exciting without them. USA vs. Japanese rivalry had made this event one to remember.

P.S.
Its nice to see people making excuses for the Japanese, Its been the other way around for way too long. Finally the USA doesn’t have to be the ones making them anymore
Good Job Boys! We did it!!!
hey, i played you on the candy cab, i was the asian guy that played you with ST vega once and said “i can’t move” lol. didn’t know who you were until i saw the finals tho, good shit
anyways, im glad US won. im sure you will hear all the excuses in the book tomorrow morning though. especially when daigo lost to valle in 3s, fanboys AUTOMATICALLY said daigo’s stick was broken cause he missed c.mk xx sa3.
funny cause daigo never said anything about the stick and used the same one for the rest of the day and finals, and worked fine, bitches.
um…you guys need to see daigo vs afrolegends…in their AE match
Good job USA. I’m happy you guy’s held it down for the good ol’ USA. It’s good to see us dominate in other games beside MvC2. Japanese player are great, but we got them this time. I couldn’t have said it better myself. All I have to say now is:
“WE MUST PROTECT THIS HOUSE!!!” :karate: :hp: :dp:
Well I must say congrats to the US for doing so much better battling against the Japanese this year than in the past. Alex Wolfe taking HSF was kind of a shock to read but also to be expected from what I saw in the Evo West vids; congratulations to you! Sucks that we couldn’t take 3S, but hey there’s always next year…although Valle eliminating Daigo(in more than one game even!), that is huge in several ways.
AE us took it down tokido knocked out watts choi valle etc with his cheese
champion bison =/ might be diff game next yr well see
