Personally I think the first one is the best one. That’s what the SE should have been! If I could, I’d chop my SE in half and have it look just like that… Oh how I wish…
i agree, stepping away from the general variation of designs is hard. thats is why i posted these here in the first place.
How do you guys feel about the thickness? before actually playing with the SE and TE i was thinking thinner was better. but after a good hour or two i started to appreciate its mass. especially when played as a laptop.
i should have another variation of the first design tonight.

You should so make an Agetec clone. Those things are perfect and need more next gen love.
They do all look awesome, but the 1st one is the best. Just pull your joystick a little further to the center so as you can have space to rest your wrists and it’ll be perfect.
I like the first one, has plenty of space and an eight button layout. I like the artwork of the third the most however, the third would be my favorite if it were a little bigger and had the 8 button layout.
A hybrid of the first and third would be the best.
More space and mass + slanted slope = best design ever.
Those render’s look amazing , I personal like the third one the best.
I agree with the more space on the first one.
I’d say if you remove two buttons and simply scoot it over, that would solve the problem. And about the weight – While I agree that weight is definitely something important, I’d like to note that most of the weight comes from a heavy bottom plate – and not from how slim or thick the stick is. A little extra plastic doesn’t account for the heaviness you feel – it’s definitely the bottom plate.
love the design of 1. It’s different from alot of the other “standard” designs for homemade sticks I see. It kinda looks like a mash between the SE and TE stick… i think it’s the angled front mixed with the side pieces.
number 2 feels like it needs more wrist space, but if you keep it on a table i could see it working very well.
3 looks awesome, like a TE stick, except angled and with 6 buttons.

The first one is tidy but I would have to say the third one gets my vote.
isn’t the third one just a tournament edition? I dig the first and third. The first would look nicer in a six button layout. Goood job
