Well according to Dafeetlee, Zeus said that regular Ryu beats Vega. I actually want to play against Zeus with my regular Ryu when I get the chance but I do know Evil Ryu has tech on Vega, but it’s a question of whether or not Evil Ryu could even use that tech. When Vega has his claw it’s a serious problem. I think even having Vega block low forward give Vega a punish or something like that. Let’s not even mention low forward fireball when he has claw. I haven’t played Zeus in awhile but he would be the Vega that makes me feel unsure about that match.
Ryu’s j.hk is really hard for vega to deal with. Jump in over his head or from max range and he’s got no normals that won’t trade when he AAs. Have to get in a lot closer with Eryu to be able to jump.
Anyone who says that the Evil Ryu/Dhalsim match is in Evil Ryu’s favor has never played against a decent Dhalsim.
Are there any Dhalsim teleport OS’s for Evil? Every time I get in and knock him down he just phases through my next hit.

- Go into training mode with e.ryu.
- Jump in on your opponent with j.HP or j.HK doesn’t matter which one.
- Now try to do a HK tatsu just as your about to hit your opponent. Try to time it just right, to slow and your j.HP/j.HK will be canceled into the tatsu, to fast and your OS will not come out.
- Do it a couple of times without hitting your opponent so the OS will come out and you know it works.
- Try this a couple of times until you get the timing down.
- Its also very important to followup on your jump attack!!! A simple cr.MPxxLK Tatsu is enough to start with. This is for building your muscle memory. If you don’t do this and try an OS in a real match your gonna get a hit but not follow it up because you think your OS will come out.
- If your confident that you got it down. Go into training mode with Dhalsim as P1 and E.ryu as P2. Record your OS and restart, try to teleport on wakeup and see if your OS works.
- Same goes for Divekick only a little bit faster.
If it’s to complicated try finding some video’s so you will get a visual confirmation on what your supposed to do. Please understand the importance of nr.6 can’t stress it enough. This will make the Dhalsim match up a little bit better. Hopefully this will help you out, if you need anymore help don’t hesitate to ask!

I guess Arturo isn’t a good Sim.
Is it me, or does Evil has bad matchups against characters with long range mids? Chun, Bison, Rose, Vega, etc. If Evil can’t get in with cr.mk, most players will use f.mk, but that loses to mids, so the only option after that is to mix up jump in with dive kicks, and if they have an answer for that…
