Yeah, Remy’s moves have more priority in Hawaii. And his sonic booms only take a 1/2 second to charge.
^^
Nice on defeating Emphy.
Fuck that, my urien rapes the best remy in my city.
Considering there’s like 3 really good Remy players in the world, I take your word for it.
This is considering that I play against the emphy killer remy, but it’s an inside joke because remy is secretly top tier.
Yeah I hate Oro… I mean Zak as well We should have all just lynched him in Vegas when we had the chance…
And listen to Dagger_G - his Remy is the truth. I think we have some casuals recorded between Dagger and Zak + Ryan and maybe Tokido as well. I still remember how Dagger was the first guy to get a round off Tokido when he came to our room! I think Leviathan took the first game, or was it Emphy? I can’t believe those hoes didn’t cap my games though  I’ll try and get those uploaded soon.
Dagger - Pass my regards to all the Hawaiian players as well - you lot were sick!
Dagger_G = truth.
I miss our mirror matches.
naz, good games. and yeah, i got lucky w/ the first game on tokido. so much fun playing against top level… i’ll miss that day…
All your Remy forums are belong to hawaii.
Some one need to list all the ways you can charge partitionn USEFULLy with Remy. Other than that this thread is good.
Has anyone seen any SA3 matches on YT? Yes I know its not that good a super in the game, but I was just wondering if there were any matches of it being used.
is there a consistent way to punish corkscrew blow? or can you only punish certain streangths of it? my guess is at cr.lk > rrf if anything, but I’m unsure about if it’s guaranteed.
Wow look like most of that stuff can be done with buffering, anyway I can do that with remy without charge partitioning, the only thing I saw was dash flash kick.

i used Remy because i knew i was going to lose.
Using sonic boom to bait out super was slick. Do people do that often? And does that work with people with slower fireballs like shotos?
Other than lov dash flash kick, and lov dash lov (which were both in the vid) what other type of practical uses, in a real match (not combo video/against cpu dummy) are you looking for?
I guess the other mind game would be when opponent wakes up do, dash in st. MP, cr. LK, flash kick. This only works if you partition the flash kick during the dash correctly and it all combos. If they block either of those, you have enough reaction time to not do the flash kick, and UOH instead or other mind games.
Also, if someone is crouching down (turtling) a lot, get close to them where you can do an UOH but not close enough to hit them. Usually when you do UOH people tend to think you won’t do it again, at least from my experience. If you stand far enough that it doesn’t hit and partition down, then immediately do another UOH and partition down, if the UOH hits them (which usually does) you can flash kick right after or ex flash kick right after for a 3 hit combo. Timing is strict, but it’s a great way to get in on an opponent, especially one that turtles a lot. This only works if you partition both UOH and your UOH is at the right range.
Other than that, feel free to post your own ideas. I don’t see many people in actual matches partition a lot, other than LOV LOV LOV LOV LOV LOV. Also, not sure if you were expecting hundreds of useful partition techniques.
Remys SAII has a really quick startup thats why it connected nicely. I suppose if you pic a fast super with shotos it should work, however the opponent has to react to the hadoken pretty quickly in order for you to have enough time to cancel into super.
Actually the reason why that bait works is because Remy can cancel is sonic boom into super at any time unlike shotos who can only canel a fireball at the first few frames. Sometimes I like to throw a sonic against yun and start a slow buffer, if he divekicks in on you then you can just cancel into super.
The Chun bait is not guaranteed though as she is able to super through the sonic boom either very early, or very late. Depending on how fast you do the buffer, you may not have enough time to complete the motion before the super flash. So in essence, it’s a 50/50. It is, however, in remy’s best interest to go for it often as the reward is very good (chun loses super, takes damage from remy saII).
You can also do this with oro’s ex saI (fireball, buffer).
