On another note, I was messing around with the Short (light kick) Cold Blue Kick; learning its range and where it puts me after its block or hit. Anyways, I found some set-ups with it where it puts you in distance for an Universal Overhead link to Super.
An easy way to learn this distance for the set-up is to go to practice mode and have your opponent in the corner and you on the opposite side of the screen. Combo a Jab (Light Punch) Light of Virtue to a dashing Short Cold Blue Kick. Hit or blocked, you have the distance as long as they are in the corner.
You are also in distance to get low forward xx super by Shotos and Chun-li, but too far to get thrown normally (I don’t think you can be kara thrown, I’ll test that out later). Since you are hoping with the Universal Overhead you shouldn’t have to worry about the low forward or throw, cause you are airborne when you use the Universal Overhead.
Now I’m able to do a Cold Blue Kick with out the opponent being in the corner or comboing the Cold Blue Kick from a Light of Virtue (as long as the Cold Blue Kick hits), I even got set-ups for a kara Universal Overhead with the Cold Blue Kick. I just wish I can show you guys on video. It’s kind of hard to explain into words.

I dunno if it has been already said, but I found that jLP beats ALL of Chun’s ground normals with the right angle.

i think its just the angle actually like urien’s jump roundhouse hit’s chun’s forehead pretty well because the angle of her attacks cant cover that upward angle. unless she does far standing mk. but even that will not trade in her favor.

u guys notice how many views + posts this thread alone has? more than every thread in the remy section combined. but not to take away from this thread this is by far in my opinion the most useful character thread in the whole third strike section. just imagine if more players came in here and let go of there egos and shared what they know.
but i’m perfectly happy with the ppl here who frequent this thread, as long as everyone here is serious and ENJOYS playing as remy and wants to win with remy no matter what then thats all that matters.

id like to enter the 3s tournament for sure. whether or not its worth the money to stay the whole 4days is my biggest question.
how much does it usually cost to go to one of these things? as in everything food, hotel (can’t we sleep on someone’s car instead :P), gas, beer, blah, blah
ive never taken a road trip to vegas so i dont know where to stay cheap. as far as sleeping in a car goes, that sounds ghetto and low-budget enough to be really good times! except its gunna be hotter than a fat mans ass crack, even at night…hotel is really the way to go.
its 20bucks to register for the tournament on the official EVO website (theres a thread on SRKs homepage) 25bucks the day before, and food shouldnt be too expensive if we hit the buffets.
we can split gas and room and the hookers lol… i mean try to hook up with other people you might know from FFA. or we can join one of those amateur nights for room money! lol
