Sup everyone. I spoke to the UO about renting out a room to throw a tournament and it’s looking like a pretty sure thing at this moment. I went ahead and talked about dates already and we’re shooting for the 29th or 30th. Does anyone have a day that they definitely can’t go? Please speak up soon, in case we need to change it. Hope ppl are dion well and can get some good practice before this. It’s been awhile since we’ve thrown one of these. The tourney’s will be for both SSF4 AFREE and 3s. There is room for side tourney’s, but you’d have to clear it with me first so I can talk to the manager lady (unless it’s mvc2 obviously. 
) If there’s any questions, please ask. If there’s anything I forgot, I’ll just type it later. pEaCe out.

needs more Marvel 3, maybe tekken too but i know Tekken is too GDLK for Eugene so no1 plays it.

Nobody seems to play tekken here. Not that it matters nobody could touch me when I was in practice besides karl anyway. I’ll play tekken and marvel but can’t make the 29th or 30th.
Well i tend to have weekends off recently so the dates are fine with me. As far as games go I’ll scrub my way through anything but i’d like to play some marvel if possible.

You should definitely cruise up to Best Bout Beatdown 7 in Portland October 8. Starts at 1pm. If you like, you can cruise up on Friday and we will do something at Best Bout, you are welcome to crash at my crib three blocks away. If you guys get a tourney going down there we will be down too, I think right now the communities should try to make it to as many tournies in the area as possible. Portland is definitely down to support Eugene, and we would be psyched to have you guys up here! Holla for sure!

News- Oct 29 and 30 are out of the question. Also, the lady wants to know what organization I’m representing? Not sure what to say. She also just said that “people can’t be charged to play the games” I should say-“they’re not being charged to play the games” (just charged to enter the tournament?) Grrr. They let people do this easily last year. So, 1truking, could you make it the week after that? You’re in ptown aren’t you? Also, Blaze just showed me some tekken. Looks alright.

I’m in salem these days and saturday the 5th is fine. I work sundays though so I can’t commit to anything on a sunday.
They want to make sure you aren’t profiting from the use of the room which is the reason for question she asked. All you need to do is make up a name of our ‘club’ and it should be fine. Any money exchange is under the table obviously. I would be down to play 3s and MvC3. I haven’t played much of anything lately but this sounds fun and inspires me to practice. I could bring at least one more person too. As far as the date, if I know in advance I can do homework ahead of time, but my weekends are generally spent doing 7+ hours of homework.

I also would like to announce that our Tilt here in Albany has an MvC2 machine for sale, if whoever bought the one down in Springfield wants another one. It’s 225$ BUT HERE IS THE CATCH…The internal memory battery is shot and does not save any charcaters and also has lost ALL of the charcaters, so I don’t know what good that machine will be.
