Good shit last night everyone! Props to hype matches, hella good fights, crazy Bomberman super sessions and all the other good stuff that happened. Also, I figured out that people from Freegene are Freeipino, which makes our resident Dhalsim player the Freeipino Champ.

And I went to Ground Kontrol on Friday (by coincidence since it was within walking distance of the train station and I had 2 hours to kill due to a layover), but it looked like the place was renovating, and there was an apparent lack of arcades or anything gaming related. I didn’t step inside cuz it didn’t look inviting or ready. What’s the deal there?
They moved all the video game stuff across the street while they renovate, so I hear. We got scraped pretty proper, but getting beat up is good for strengthening your competition organ, so good, bring the beat downs!
We definitely have to go up to GK for the next Slugfest though. The only bad thing is that it’s at noon so that kids don’t get kicked out of GK.

The tournament is all ages but GK is 21 and up after 5PM because they start serving alcohol at that time. We will prolly have casuals and salty run backs after the tourny is over for the big kids :).
