Anyone hear from Laugh lately? I ordered some items off his site a week ago and they still haven’t shipped and he hasn’t reponded to my PM’s and Emails.
No problem buddy, just makin sure you were ok! I know you’re a stand up guy. Thanks!
Laugh, any soft myongshin rubbers?
Thanks Ryan! Keep me posted, Im a patient man.
I get 15mm on the start/select button holes.
Question about Crown buttons –
Are they known for having a “sticking” problem? As in they’ll depress, but fail to return?
Never having used any other than this set of six, I don’t know if what I’m experiencing is common, or if I got a bad batch (I have heard about random “off” batches of Crowns).
Thx!!
Would this be a good stick to learn on?
No it’s not a commonality. They pop back into place pretty well unless they’re from an off batch.
Yeah it is. But honestly, I think it depends on what sort of format you’re playing on. If you go to arcades often and you live in…North Carolina (do they have those; I wouldn’t be surprised if they didn’t) they you’d end up playing on Japanese or Western parts most likely. They’re not like the standard joysticks in they change (improve, imo) after a bit of use. I find them extremely enjoyable after having tried everything else (except like Wico, iL or maybe Suzo or something).
I do, however, believe that every joystick user should be proficient with a Sanwa JLF at the least (those things show up everywhere). If ever you find yourself in a position where you can’t choose what joystick you’re on you’ll probably end up on a japanese joystick.
Thanks for the insight! None of the plunger wings seem to be broken, but I did install the buttons and remove them from the control panel a few times. Maybe they got weakened. (The Crowns seemed so solidly constructed, though, I didn’t think it would be a problem.)
I’m going to order some more, but maybe I’ll go with CWB203As. I hear they feel different from the CWB203Cs; can anyone describe the difference? Which is more common in Korean arcades?
speaking of buttons, you say 203c uses futaba switches, correct? where can i buy replacements? i know the buttons are durable, and i would probably be better off just buying new buttons, but im curious. thanks.
Hey Ryan,
did u receive my msg?
I placed an order @ etokki about 4 weeks ago.
Unfortunately i did not receive my package yet. could u check where it is?
kind regards
shaXx
Ryan, please check your pm’s there is a problem with my order.
Thanks,
Steve
Hey Laugh, I’m pretty sure you answered this for me once before but do PS2 Saulabi sticks work with the InPin?
Whoa! So I received CWB203As today (thanks laugh!), and dang these things demand a thick panel to snap into. Does anyone have any tips for mounting them into thin panels? Maybe I should just hot glue these suckers…
I don’t suppose 203A plungers + microswitches are swappable into the 203C casings…?
I’ve never had the 203C’s but it looks like they could…
203C’s don’t come in black and 203A’s don’t come in green…
I’ve only had 203C’s, so I can’t contribute. As for mounting them, you could rig up a little washer out of cardboard to place underneath the holes, or maybe trim a washer from the spacers if you had some.
Ah, some kind of washer is a good idea…I do have some of the spacers. Maybe I’ll try filing them down. Thanks!
about to buy an inpin converter to replace the one I bought from you ages ago (lost it). Good to know I have a reliable place to get one, etc, thanks.
So i send you a message regarding my order which was likely lost in the mail, you reply, i say oh well and the next thing i know my wife is calling me at work saying i got a package from korea. Can’t wait to get home and test it out. It’s funny how things work out sometimes. Expect another order from me soon, thanks laugh.
Yes!!
