Where’s Laugh, anyone know?

Just how bad are the stock buttons on the wooden korean stick? I mean is it really worth the trouble to replace them?

^ Much like the stock SFIV Madcatz SE buttons they’ll stop working eventually, so absolutely. Till then, they’re not completely terrible.

What causes this? And I guess ill just order the buttons, worry about soldering later.

Normal use, I suppose. I never used mine long enough for them to break but I’ve read reports that they last about 6 months or so before problems occur.

It’s been said that the microswitches from sanwa obsf-30 (the buttons in a TE) fit into stock saulabi buttons perfectly but you’d still have to make certain that the prongs on the switches fit into the holes on the pcb. This would still require soldering.

The toughest part is bending the prongs on the Crown buttons to get them to fit into the holes on the pcb (i.e. you may wanna buy some extra buttons). I can just about sleep throught the soldering portion.

Ok Laugh. On the 26th of this month complete one month of sending of my purchase by korean mail. I’ll wait until the 30th, which is later in the week and if the order does not arrive, I return here to talk to you.

Thanks

well either a refund or the goods would be great, thanks for replying.

Oh, I just noticed that you have LS-32s in stock. Hopefully you can get some LS-32-01s and PS-14-KNs in stock soon.

Just made my first order yesterday, just wondering how long it takes for my order to ship out (since it says processing still).

Didn’t order extra buttons lol… are there any suppliers here locally in the states for something that can replace the buttons of a wooden korean stick? what exactly fits in there??

Only Korean buttons as they are 28mm and Japanese buttons are 30mm.

Edit: Ryan, when will you get the Red OSBF-30 in again?

either korean crown buttons or IL/happ competition/horizontal/translucent buttons would fit in 28mm holes.

you can use a holesaw to put in larger buttons I suppose.

Modifying Saulabi SPS-3000 Ver A

Ryan, according to the post office here in Brazil, my order has not yet entered this country. Then I ask that you please check what happened with the mail from Korea, because it sure is not normal situation. My order is # 1493.

Laugh, do you have any sanwa jlf springs for sale? going to buy a paewong pcb soon and would like the chance to get some springs too…
Thanks

is it easy to mod paeyang fightstick parts to sanwa parts ?

Thanks for it, Laugh. I expect a solution from you soon.

See ya

thanks for the response ryan!

I was the one who made this request to the Korean post. And they answered me by e-mail. Since obviously I do not understand anything of the Korean language, I’ll paste here the answer they gave me.

But this response was given to me there are already eight days ago, and after that nothing more was said to me. I do not know how works the postal service of you, but here, if we do not make pressure, we do not obtain results. As I logically can not do that, I hope you do, because I waited a month for an order that has not yet left Korea.

Thank you.

Ryan, I just got the button covers. I will post how they will look like ASAP.
