The iTokki Omni looks like a great sturdy stick. I was wondering if anyone know how thick the top-plexi is. I saw a video of an older revision of the stick, and the plexi was very thin which made it bulge/wooble. Has this been changed on later revisions?
by any chance is there just a skeleton version of this stick offered (or another stick that’s similar)? meaning none of the innards. just the steel box itself? i’d definitely like to get my hands on one of those and customize it to my own standards.
@therobin : Thanks for the answer. The only thing i’m a little concerned about is that there might not be enough palm space for my large hands.
I’ve noticed the eTokki webshop has been offline for atleast a month, and i also understand these sticks are made in smaller batches and not very often, so i’m unsure in what timeframe or at all i would be able to get one.
Thanks for the info. I figured it might be because they’re preparing a new version, particularly for Tekken 7/Street Fighter V and PS4 compatibility. I sent a message at the weekend and Laugh responded, most notably he said;
Hope that’s help for anyone else who’s curious. Keep in mind I didn’t enquire about the Sanwa version.
Sent an email to them and supposedly PS4/next gen Omni sticks coming in the next few weeks.
They said they will most likely be using Brooks boards in them but didn’t specify Fightboards or Universal also the turbo button is being replaced by the Touchpads click button
(No Touchpad though).
How reliable is this site for parts? i had never even heard of it before, but i need some washers to fit korean buttons into my stick and i cant find them anywhere else.
From what I watched from the recent Arcade Stream weekly, Mintcheerios of Core-A Gaming was using a new prototype version of the Omni and it might have the Brook Universal Fight Board. Hope I heard Missing Person right!
If I heard correctly, Missing Person said it was the Brook Universal Fighting Board. To be fair, we were having a small chat to stream conversation where he can barely be heard on the audio mix.
Hopefully it isn’t the new Omni being the only new thing coming aka still waiting on a decent way to get a Crown 309 Helpme lever. If not, might as well get my hands on the Crown green 303N.
