Hello people, this will be my first time entering EVO, and I hope to get some tips on what to bring.
Also, will evo provide controllers or do we have to bring our own stick?
Hopefully I am not answering a troll. Anyways, you bring your own stick unless you want to buy one at the venue from the MadCatz or Hori booth. I bought my VLX for PS3 there due to myself not having a PS3 stick.
Bring food, unless you are loaded and can afford casino food. However if you go to the Rio, they have amazing world buffet. I can’t remember Caesars. Just posting in this thread has me sad I can’t attend this year.
Other stuff to bring = deodorant.

Food is expensive in Vegas, so be wary of that if you are broke.

Bring as much food as you can since almost every fast food place and casinos are higher priced. Bring your own stick and money for all the Ts you can get. Lol
Please shower and bring deodorant. There is a wall of funk when going inside the venue and it really does help

hey it is also my 1st time going to EvO and ive been playing sC5 on pad since ive had the game. my question is are pads banned ? ( Btw i have a stick i just dont have 1 for my xbox and thats what ive been playing sc5 on.)
Nope, pads are not banned for the most part, just the official PS3 wireless pad. A PS2 pad and a converter should be fine.
