SF4 wont be out in time. TvC will, but i cant commit to anything just yet, as far as me bringing it. On top of that, this tournament is running very few games that I am interested in, so im not sure I’ll want to make the drive down. I’ll think about it though. Cheers! 
right, it has come to light that SFIV will not be out in time for this event. As a result, we will be replacing it with another game tournament. Depending on if we can get resources, we may run TvC but otherwise we might just run another older game. Suggestions are welcomed. I dont own a wii and dont plan to buy one for a game I can just play at the arcade. Keits, if you can come thats cool, but I wont announce the game unless someone who maybe lives in Chicago is importing this for sure to ensure we have the equipment. Thanks though

TvC (if we can get enough setups)

CvS2
a KOF/SNK game
SFalpha3
an old version of guilty gear
a guilty gear random character select and random bracket placement tournament (done via computer program with no seeding)
random game tournament where each round is a new game (could be anything! I have a looot of old random obscure fighters)
these are a few ideas
please vote on what you would like to see there. You can suggest something not listed as well
also, keep those pre regs comin!
I am thinking of doing at least a couple SNK side tournys after 3s/ST. I’d do Garou first and then something else like RB2. Adam if youd wanna help out with that and/or TvC that would be cool.

Random game every round tournament, PLEASE, it would be too much fun and I wanna play in one of these at least once especially after seeing Fast and the Furious Superbikes and MWC. Same goes for that Gill Only tournament idea. I have a whole ton of obscure/terrible/both of those/random as all hell games, like GG1, Ehrgeiz, Shaq-Fu on a PS2 SNES emulator… a lot of games you could run in a mystery game tournament if you needed them.
I could also supply a Tatsunoko v Capcom setup provided I get my copy of the game when my preorders on all the fighters coming out in november - december come in, as well as any PS2 game setup, though I would need a copy of USA Accent Core.

Bombchivo, it seems like theres going to be a lot of various side tournaments being run. Go ahead and organize a CvS2 tournament. Just make sure you have the resources to run it. Im really fine with anyone running any side tournaments at this as long as they bring their own equipment and we have enough space for the games listed in the first post (which shouldnt be a problem). The room can fit about 22 TVs so space shouldnt be an issue
