sparda, yep it sure is, but the problem is that the vast majority of the smash community (not all but a lot of them) dont play many other fighting games. If we get a huge smash crowd its gonna require a ton of extra resources, space, and time. If you want to try to organize a smash tournament to coincide with this event, I suggest you independently try to organize something with the smash community at the same venue, but just rent the same room for Sunday. We are only running saturday tournaments. Many of the out of state players coming to this will still be around on Sunday. If you guys want to extend this thing to sunday im all for it, but I will not be in any way involved. I will simply let you include your tournaments as part of the event in the sense that its at the same venue on the same weekend and I will add your tournament to the original post. If no one in the smash community is serious enough about it to go through all that trouble then just wait till the next smash major. In a perfect world id run every game but this was designed to be a guilty gear major and I wanted it to be a bit more than that, but unfortunately I cant please everyone.

Maybe if keits comes he can run all brawl lol. Apart from that, I dont want any part in trying to organize any smash stuff. Been there, done that lolol.:lol:

Just a note to people bringing stuff (consoles, tvs)

MARK YOUR NAME ON EVERYTHING! Especially on more expensive stuff that can be stolen like consoles and sticks.

We shall know really soon what console we will use HDRemix for (its coming out in November it seems).

yes please mark everything. anyone that can provide a TV or console+game for us to use will get 5 bucks off their venue fee

dont worry about your stuff being stolen, all equipment will be in constant use, and people are gonna notice if a TV is sitting there without a console hooked up to it, and I dont think anyones gonna pull off slipping an entire TV under their coat or some shit like that

if you can help out, please post what you can provide since I am making a list of expected equipment donations
