if i am not going to win, i might as well go to the tourney that is closer with like 83? people. But to keep it real, I beat like played so many boxers in tournament (2). So you were there in spirit, both were Filipino also.

Twas Mike and I o.o

When’s the next one?

Pending. Turnout’s been really low lately, so this tournament has been on hiatus. Stir up some buzz, and when I see more possibility of a higher turnout, I’ll talk to the owner. Saturday seems like a bad day for people, and unless this has changed, we might not have enough for an 8 man bracket. Let me know.

All I know is that this venue is much better than Tap Ex…so much better.

As long as they’re on the weekends, I can be there with some consistency.

I have been informed that The City is closing its doors at the end of October.

This tournament had a great run and I know many of us will be sad to see it go. However, life goes on.

That being said, let’s finish this venue’s tournament series strong. I hope that many of you guys reading this, Sacramento or otherwise, will come and play in the last few tournaments at The City. Let’s band together and just play. After all, Street Fighter and tournaments should be about fun, competition, and camaraderie. So… come out and play

sad to see that its closing, the owner and venue has always treated us well. will be there to close it out with a bang

weeklies from oct 2nd til closed?

Luc, that’s what I’m aiming for, but I’ll have to discuss with people and Howard. I’ll keep everyone updated.

I am working on an flyer right now. I want to know if it will be every Saturday or just bi so I can print em and put them at CRC this weekend. Also I am talking to my editor at The Connection newspaper if we can cover this Saturday event.

Phantommanut, I’ve got some flyers on the first post already, but please feel free to make your own and distribute them.

I am planning on doing them for the remaining Saturdays in October, but I’m not sure yet. I’ll keep everyone posted. I’d be happy to answer any questions if you plan on covering the next tournament; it’d be an interesting way for the fighting game scene to gain some exposure. My goal for these tournaments have always been to get new people involved in playing; as a tournament organizer, I’ve seen many people come and go. However, if I can get just one or two people to become more involved in the scene, I consider it a success. That being said, I’d appreciate any exposure you’d give us.

Aw damn last one? Gonna try to make it out to this one! My bad I haven’t been to this yet even though you’ve been to Munchies hella times

I really want to go to this last one. It’s been a while since I last came to one of your venues Romeo.

Here is a flyer I quickly made:
