Dual modding a stick in terms of somebody doing it for u, usually runs around $85 to $100 dollars. Shipping itself isn’t cheap and the PCB is a good $30-40 unless you can track down a madcatz. It’s much easier and usually cheaper to dual mod an xbox360 stick because xbox360 pcb’s have security restrictions all over the place.
well im bringn my te stik for ps3, if i let some use it and they break it ima b pised so dont ask if u dont knw what u doin lolas for ps3s sf4 copies n setups im praying some of the older guys hear bring some i dont feel comfy bringn all dat stuff plus im nt drivn so i cant carry much

If you have a TE, I believe they make a solderless cthulu (a PCB that lets you use your stick in PS3s and 360s) that you can install with just a screwdriver. I’m hoping to buy one soon.

At the Munchies tourneys, everyone seems to know what they’re doing and they all seem to treat each other’s sticks nicely. I’m assuming most, if not all, of the people that are coming will be SFIV-heads and will know what they’re doing :).

I probably wont be able to make it. I may be able to show up late and I’ll try to make it but I wouldn’t count on me showing up.
I’m pretty sure I’ll be bringing my setup and my HRAP3 so we’ll need at least one other ps3 stick for my setup. I don’t mind sharing my stick…no homo…but if you break my shit, I’ll eat your soul and excrete in your mouth.

Didn’t expect the tourney to be planned out and venue confirmed within 2 days and a tourney date within 5 days of concept. I’m not sure I can make it; depends on what time my prior obligations are done. I wish I knew this a week ago. I’ll show up for support either way if I can’t make sign-ups.

Thanks, added. I know you’ve got the 360 and two sticks, but since we already have two PS3s for this event, you don’t have to bring it. Much appreciated, though. However, we may switch to 360 later, seeing as how it may be easier to find 360 setups (more availability)…

No, there will not be a 360 setup this Saturday (27th). A switch to 360 may be in order later, but we’ll worry about that later. I’d like to keep things as simple as possible, so we’ll be going strictly PS3 for now.
Guys, if you can, please borrow a PS3 stick from a friend beforehand. It looks like we may be short on sticks, and I’d like to avoid that o_o. If you can’t, though, no worries - there should be enough sticks, but better safe than sorry.

We are doing strictly PS3 for the time being. As it stands, we should have three PS3 sticks (my TE, your TE, DeeJay’s HRAP)… we really just need one more. So you won’t have to worry about modding your stick for now, but just remember, we may switch to 360 in the future. But I’ll let you know as soon as we make the decision.

Yeah, I have to write my name on mine, too. Make it look all cool and stuff and write it on the bottom with Sharpie haha. James (aka Taunt) and Filipino Champ had some cool signature stuff on the bottom of their sticks that made them easily identifiable as theirs.
