Next tourney will be on the 25th. And… I’m not sure. It all depends on the demand on what the players want - if you want it, go tell all your friends to request it here in this thread. If it seems there’s enough demand, I’ll see what I can do about MVC2.

Seriously, though, if there are enough people, we might be able to get one started. We might need one more setup, though, so we can do everything faster and get out of there more quickly. It might be the same fee - or we might reduce it. $5.00 entry - 4 to pot, 1 to venue? Maybe 7$ fee, 5pot, 2venue again. Iuno.
Anyway, let your voice be heard if you want a Marvel tourney. Please be aware we’ll probably need AT LEAST one more setup. The flatscreen on the wall apparently lags due to upscaling (thanks to Jack, our out-of-town genius, for the info), so we may be able to get around it by using a digital signal (HDMI>DVI converter>flatscreen). If we can do that, that’s a possible 4 setups. Even without it, though, we’d need at least three confirmed setups before we can even think about doing Marvel.
Again, let your opinions be heard, guys. That’s how this tourney even came to be in the first place.

Well Im down for this Saturday. I played Tihn online in SF4 and he destroyed me. Hes a really good player. I wouldnt be surprised if he won both Marvel and SF4. The marvel set up would be pretty nice for money matches but I dont know about an actual tournament. I dont know about the norCal Marvel scene.
marvel will lag on almost any non-SD tv. any type of upscaling causes lag; digital or analog.

Lucky me I played Tihn first round of the tournament last time, I have mad respect for his skill. Buuuuut he’s so lying about how long he’s been playing! 3 weeks before that tournament??? Come on! I’ve heard he’s been at tournaments since March. You don’t get that good at SFIV with any 1 character in such a short time, let alone the fact that he could main either Sagat or Ryu.
