@ZDH513 I don’t agree with that at all. Online is irrelevant in determining a character ranking. Conditioning your opponent is something that’s true for every character.
Thats ok i even said its my own opinion, I play both online and offline it was just an observation i made with fireball only.
EDIT: if you’d like i would like to hear your analysis where she lands on the tier list so far i think bottom 10 is my opinion as i already expressed but is she mid tier or low mid tier or even mid high tier who knows. I think her tool are just not enough for most MU, but again i welcome the discussion.

Can Elena counter poke DJ during DJ tick throw set up i get caught by that more than i should or Dj BnB combo into sweep is it frame tight and cr.lp won’t hit or do i just have to block and just tech it?
I don’t know all of DJ buttons but when i play DJ players they do a block string that ends in cr.mk which i assume causes a hard knockdown. I was wondering if i can poke him out of his string or is it a combo and i just need to block it.
Ok thats good to know, I let DJ get away with it way to much and it hinders my game because DJ annoying in general to me and it causes me to miss sp many opportunities to punish or deal damage. If it’s -5 a cr.lp into BnB can do the trick.
How is this possible? I’ve tried this combo on a couple of characters and it never comes close to connecting. The opponent is basically inches above the ground before I’m free to input Ultra.
Edit: Nevermind, I see it works on T.Hawk. Was surprised it didn’t even work on Zangief or Hugo, though. I’m assuming this is extremely character specific.
Anyone else having issues doing U1 after a successful EX LT on some charc i mean for most of the time it hits but for some reason I whiff more often than not on Decapre in the corner which is odd cause i usually hit it. I was wondering if the timing is more tight or does Decapre hitbox have anything to do with it. I also noticed that if LT 2nd or 3rd hit catches the opp pressing buttons and they go into a juggle state then sometimes U1 won’t reach to catch them in time.
Mind if i take some of those charc spec combos and put them in the MU thread sometime in the future, you will be given credit of course.
So I hear that Capcom is gonna fix Elena’s hurtbox as well. Depending on what they mean by ‘fix’, if this happens with no other changes I think a bottom 5 placement is all but guaranteed maybe even bottom 3.
If they “fix” Elena’s hurtboxes, they better “fix” the hitboxes on her specials too. Also give me back cancelable cr.HP and make all versions of mallet smash safe on block OR able to go over attacks other than projectiles while you’re at it please. Also revert st.lk and her jumping normals to arcade status etc. etc…
The fix will prob. be after EVO and in the long run might hurt Elena cause the hitbox issue so far is helping us, you know how much of a blessing it is to know Burn kick will miss 5/10 times. When they do fix it Elena will not get any buffs to compensate i think they will let her SS still fall out and her dmge still be low, a long with her cr.HP not being cancel-able. We will lose a tool but gain prob none in return.
