You can do a lot of things with modding. When I said you can’t do it, I meant under regular circumstances.
You can. I don’t actually know if you get the extra frame of leniency, but you can. And select plinking, too. But yes you’d need to mod.
Or just substitute cr.lp, cr.lp, cr.mp. Not a low but an option if he really can’t hit the link, and will allow a hitconfirm and allow you to safely space back to your optimum spacing.
Quite honestly, if you can get the cr. lp, cr.lp link down, the cr.lk, cr. lp link isn’t that hard, modding select or not. The rhythm for hitting it is quite similar.

The cool thing about cr.lk is that when done in a string of cr.lk cr.lp cr.lp or cr.lk cr.lp cr.mp you can follow through with a light MS and it won’t go over their heads at all i recommend this only when done in a string you miss the link cause if you get the link just go into your Bnb.
Close crouching mk with light mallet smash won’t go over either.
all versions of MS wont go over if you do a string of 3 normals.
Thanks for that confirm its one of the main Punishes i use for Decapre EX Hands but this helps me think of something for a lot of MU nows

Yeah I can’t seem to do her links online, yet offline they’re pretty simple. Ranked was pretty bad for me today because of this. I think from now on I’ll just use ranked to see how matchups work out with her.
Just simplify all your combos when you play online. Use less links and/or easier links whenever you can. Even if you get less damage, better than eating an SRK or SPD just because netcode decided to screw you.
Got to play her offline today. Was a hell of a lot better than playing online. Every match was still a struggle, but at least it was possible. Got taken out by a Ryu (whose player ended up winning the whole thing) and a Blanka (who I learned later was a player everyone hated having to face), so at least I didn’t get scrubbed out. I should have won the Blanka match, though - I went in to aggressive at the end, if I had just played defense and blocked balls, teched throws and punished electrics, I probably would have won. They had that match on stream, though, I always end up losing when I’m on stream, I dunno why. Beat an Oni pretty easy and very, very barely beat a Chun Li and Rose (literally last rounds on both with a smidge of life left). Afterwards the Chun Li fought me in a long set and steam rolled me though.
