i was already on my way out but it’s kinda hard to carry two backpacks and a TV so i guess i’ll just take the consoles first and then go back to my house and pick up the TV

we played at christians pad freddy… i went about 10 30 and only saw him…then played till like 12 30 and met with marcus there…prolly missed us by a couple mins…
well i just want you guys to picture this…
a big arcade, with big screens for just about every game all new of course, internet access for online gamers… of course the usual random money making games (such as bemani games…new not old)… but just about every fighter we would want to get better in, and be able to compete… next to being sponsored to going to outta town tourneys by this particular arcade… pretty much justin wong style… and of course the special days like stargate…meaning…quarter games for a different game…
let me know what you guys think would it make a big change for this dead gaming scene… bringing ppl from juarez, and possibly getting a big attraction…
what im saying here is…i have someone who will listen to our requests… i just wanna know…will anyone attend to this place…knocking out the dump arcades (tilt, bobs, adventure zone, fiestas shity lil arcade, and pretty much all the crap tahts here) out of the water.
just picture it, and let me know about ideas you all have… that will pick up… lets try and be possitive about this idea…cus it can definatly come true. no broken sticks not crap machines NO BULLSHIT:D

ok ok maybe not, in fact that sounds a little bit too good to be true
sure a place like that can get the gamers community together and revive the fighting scene here in El Paso but i guess it’ll take a lot of time and proper advertising for it to work
if you are serious about it then it won’t be hard to beat the competition since the owners of the arcades i’ve been here in El Paso don’t know shit about videogames

and from what ive seen in houston, and heard about how Nebraska’s Family FUn is sorta designed…it seems like the idea might just work… but we have to have positivity on our side…im just fed up of going to lame lil arcades to play on broken equiptment… and having to play some random guy who just mashes and practicually fucks it up for the rest off us…but with this…we can help the mashers actually learn how to play…may take time and they may lose…but how else are you gonna get better…
but keep in mind, well get out fighters we want…and theyll be new and ill make sure they are fixed as soon as something goes wrong with it…possibly have two of each of the best top fighters around…like one for the good players and one for the ppl just about to learn and get there training together

you see, the vast majority of the people who go to the arcade are scrubs who want nothing more than just killing some time
now i’m not saying that there’s anything wrong with that, i mean you can’t expect everyone to take their gaming to the same level we’re on
now don’t get me wrong, i’m not trying to say that we’re some sort of supreme beings who know everything about fighting games, my point is that most people don’t see videogames as something worth competing on and spending their time on
I don’t think there are many video-gamer-freaks like us around, but we all could join and recruit some people from Juarez, Las Cruzes, even UTEP. I’ve seen some preety good players around! (I got my ass wipped in CvS2 by a girl, I couldn’t even beat her lv1 Iori:( )
This might actually work! The hard part is finding the people who are willing to play Video-Games as a life-style like us!

hey pen^2… how big a place are you talking about? maybe a two-story place? maybe even a starbucks or a lil cafeteria inside? tv’s hanging all over the place… street signs on the walls… lots of posters… GOOD music on all the time… a stage for some local groups to play maybe? iono… but the idea sounds GRRRREAT
be careful tho pen^2… you may end up in a peter piper with a lot of kids running all over the place, so it’s gotta be a place that isn’t suitable for kids or a place that parents wouldnt take their kids to… you can fix this by putting some Carmen Electra posters here and there and not putting money making games kids like…

my point is that once a place like that exists, players will come out because how do you expect them to learn if the places they go to have messed up sticks or the wrong games?
they WILL come… maybe not the first week but eventually it could be HUGE
maybe by giving some tutorials or character FAQS iono, but by keeping a friendly atmosphere ppl willing to learn will come
