hey mike fun tourney and you ran it pretty good, there was just onw thing i was dissapointed about… luis being a little girl and not wanting to play anyone else but his butt buddy, besides, we all know roe joe was going to beat his ass cause luis would choke, i mean why even show up, what a waste!!! on another note, i had hella fun at my crib for the after tournie party, man random 3s team was hella fun, i think i had more fun there than at the tournie, there was too many people that i didnt know, but the ones that i did know and counted drank some BEEEEEEEEEER!!!

Mike - Besides MVC2, it sounds like everything ran pretty smooth. I think MVC2 always gets baited like that, though, so it’s cool lol. Hella intense finals with you in MVC2, too. =O

I had a blast!! Gj running the tourney tight mike, 3 games in like 5 hours is pretty good imo. The random at Freddy’s was the baomb! Booze, food, trying my hardest to pull off teh oro infinite, i almost got that shit. So people are kinda asking me what games I would run if there was another tourney. Well, IF there was another tourney. Chances are I would run 3rd Strike, Slash, and maybe a random King of Fighters title. (Depending on the demand) Hell, maybe even a random Tekken 6 kick off tourney depending on how hyped people are for the game when it’s released. (Depending on if the game is out by the time another tournament were to happen)
No CvS2 for obvious reasons, and Marvel2, not even the players that play it exclusively don’t enter, so unless there was a huge turnout for it, and I was positive they would come and enter, yeah, I would scrap that also.
People need to step up and just freaking play MVC2 in a tourney if that’s their main game. It was only $7 to enter, too. I think most of the regulars have a pretty good shot at winning.

Well, like I said, a lot of people should have either entered, or at least showed up. I can understand why Cesar did’nt go, but what about DM and Chuy. And why did’nt Andrew not enter Marvel2 either. Hell, I entered 3S, a game that I KNEW I had no shot at winning, and looking at everyone that did enter, I was telling myself I would have probably lost to anyone AND everyone, yet I still entered. I would have also joined Slash and CvS2, but I could’nt really afford 28 dollars at the time, heh.
Anyways, just a little dissapointed is all. I would have liked to see stronger support for the scene, but oh well, it’s water under the bridge.
Anyways, anyone wanna learn Smash with me? I’ll probably be playing it a lot at the Union now. har har har
