Oh Magic…only the greatest game ever conceived by man! It’s good that they are bringing back the multicolored format like Invasion block. I’m excited to see all the crazy decks. I think this will be my favorite format yet.

Have you noticed how the blocks have a pattern?
Tempest block= Pretty damn good
Urza block = br0k3n!
Masques block = boring and slow
Invasion block = very good, changes things up
It goes exactly like that. Proof:
After Invasion was Odyssey, the new Tempest, pretty damn good
Then Mirrodin = br0k3n Affinity mechanic
Kamigawa block = boring and slow
Ravnica = “coincidentally” brings back the multicolor theme that Invasion did and just seems to be a good set so far already.
It’s funny because it is so true. I agree with that. Odyssey was pretty crazy with the graveyard mechanics; however it was boring because you saw all the same stuff. Now when it was paired with Onslaught, it felt like Tempest block all over again. I’m hoping to see many random tournament-worthy designs come out of Ravnica. (Much like when Apocalypse was released.) It’s gonna be fun to get back into playing seriously I’m sure.

There is also a little article on 1up.com, I don’t know how reliable they are, but they have a few interesting things to say about DR, including the possibility about tech traps returning (the new roll back system introduced to 5.1 still exists) and even pallete swaps like Kunimitsu (for Yoshi) and Alex (for Roger). But have yet to be confirmed!
Daytime Wilderness looks badass, Devil Jin has a new throw that is also badass, and the the nighttime version of “City at Sunset” also looks too good!
