Oh yeah Mushihimesama is a pretty tough game. But keep in mind that those videos are of the hardest setting. I am no shoot em up genre, but my impression is that Cave relies a lot more on “fill the screen with bullets” hard rather than Treasure’s “crazy patterns” hard.
How hard it is compared to the Tohou shooters, I don’t know. The Tohou games are pretty insane as well.
If you have a chance, also look for videos of Espgaluda. Same company. Many bullets too.
What I want to know is how good Ibara is. That’s Cave’s latest game.
