Great meeting all of you guys; I had a great time playing and drinking. Lando beasting with MSP was too intense for me. 
:tup: :karate: That made the whole trip; badass resets and multiple temptest killed his ass quick. Everyones eyes were glued to the match, ppl were yelling, cusing, cheering, it was awesome. And the last match when it came down to a time over, my heart almost exploded.
And mike destroying with servebot was hilarious, and when the orginizer tagged out cable and mike snapped him back in, beautiful. I could go on and on Fern, Cesar, Marcus, everyone did badass. Good times, we really need to invite them to an American tourney and show them how to really play.
We gotta start it early. I think 4:30 is the best time, and thatās only registration. Itāll start a little later. I donāt know running 2 tournies at once would suck since a lot of people will be in both, so thatās why I want to start one game early. Mall closes at 9. Like Iāve said before, future tournies will run a lot smoother, with more games, too. For now, itās just MVC2 and T5. Next tourney will add DDR for sure and maybe SVC.

5th - 8th - Who knows? It was like me, Cesar, maybe Fernie, and some other guy.

I started playing fighting games 4 months before CvS2 came out in the U.S. and the thing I remember most from when I first started playing was when I was really trying to get better with an arcade stick rather than a Dreamcast pad and hanging out with you guys more. After the third or so Tilt CvS2 tourney occurred I was playing at Tilt right before it closed and I was playing against CezTSās A-groove team. He fucked up his mid-screen Rising Tackle(x6-7) Terry combo and rolled through me a couple times and caught me blocking the wrong way. Cez laughed and said, āHa ha, you got baited!ā After that, I thought that word was so awesome that I used it with Raul and Paco forever and I always remember hearing you guys saying it (especially CezTS) at Joeās Dadās house when we played waaaaaay before Texas Showdown 3.
The moral of this story? I donāt know for certain if Cez coined that term for fighting games, but I do know that he was using it less than 3 or 4 months after CvS2 came out in 2001. I guess itās safe to say that he came up with it. Hehā¦itās so damned catchy that I bet anyone whoās ever heard it thinks they came up with it.

the settings were baited but the ppl from mexico city play on normal settings, hell if they were normal settings i wouldve used rogue storm tron and finish the match real quickā¦ but where im trying to go is that mebbe we could go to a tourny to a place outside chihuahuaā¦ like in summer when we all have lots of timeā¦ we could go driving or even by busā¦ so i suggest road trip! and maybe even have a couple of juarez guys ājoin our teamā hehe

Juarez was fun, but I agree, the settings sucked ass. I usually go for the fast kill of assistants so I can avoid playing against them when their first character is gone, but this time, you had to hyper byper like 10 times to kill the assistant, but oh well, but yeah, great games. DJ and RowJoe are muche better in normal settings (I guess all of us are :karate: ), but yeah, Lando was badass on the last day of the tourney.
Sin city was pretty badass, dramatic lighting long ass monologe, with whited out charcter profile poses definate comic book movie. Dark knight returns is that a novel or comic, i read some batman book once that had some crazy joker and twoface chapters in it, I was reminded of them listening to Merve figuring out his state of mind.
the settings were bad but theres no way itās fair to be eliminated after one loss(for anybody), when the winner wins the tourny with a loss, hope we can all do it again in cruces, LaTEsā¦ :devil:

i may have. iāve read tons of comics my memory struggles on stuff iāve read over 5 years ago but i think i remember reading some story where batman beats superman in the future although the details are fuzzy. I think the book i was thinking about was something like gotham knights it was pretty dope too.
