I’ve heard lot of MVC2 players don’t even take EVO as a serious tournament anymore. From Soo to Row to Sanford, they’ve either not taken it seriously or just boycotted it, because it’s on console. With that said, I’d still like to go to Evo, just to get beasted on. 
Many said TS5 was THE best tourney they’ve EVER went to. Even Justin said that, so that made me sad. :[
Nathan: is your Hori the one of T5 or a Japanese version? If so, is it the CvS version, the green/gray or the new red/gray or blue/gray?
Where did you get it? And please bring it next time you go to Chew’s - I really want to try it out (and compare it to the T5 one)

Anyone in here that lives in LC and plays Guilty Gear XX #R? I think the game is pretty sick, but I don’t really know anyone around here that’s down to play.
It’s the black one with the green stick and buttons. AFAIK, the stick is sanwa, but the buttons are hori, but then people say that they are sanwa. I don’t know which, but they feel really nice anyway. (If they aren’t sanwa, I’m told you can just screw the buttons out and replace them.) Are you talking about the Tekken 5 stick that they released in the U.S. that everyone got in that bundle or are you talking about the one that is only being released in Japan (it’s white and has red lightning graphics with a red stick and buttons). That one has the same parts as the RAP (I’m told), yet have a different (baited) layout.
The I got the regular RAP, the special editions use Seimetsu parts from what I understand. Those will be a bitch to get a hold of since they are a Horistore exclusive item.
Anyway, I’ll be sure to bring my stick next time we get together. I have never felt a stick like this before. It is so responsive and you can feel every damned direction you input. I’m just not used to this kind of precision so it will take a while before I can enjoy it’s full potential.

OK guys. I can probably go to El Paso or Cruces Wednesday and/or Thursday. It’s short notice, but I just found out I have those days off. All I know how to play is MvC2 and a little 3S. I can bring my custom MvC2 for DC or regular for PS2 or just play at the arcades, etc. What say you?
Adam??? Maybe wensday after 5pm we could get together and play some Mvc2 to practice for the Juarez tourney. Anyone up for it? We could maybe get together at Adams or play at the mall, did they put the new sticks in RowJoe? What kind of music do you have on your MvC2 mix?

I’m thinking I’ll get into it after this J-town tourney. I’ll hit you up once I do.
Well, you could stay at my humble, poor, and still unfurnished house for one night if you like, just make sure to bring some sticks to play some MvC2 or SF3, but let me know in advance. Oh, by the way, no drinks or drunks allowed. :pleased:
