The video is still fake. Apparently what the recorded did was to save a state at every frame, so he could backtrack whenever an error was made.
However, even if the video was done by “cheating”, there should still be credit because:

TMNT was extremely easy. All you had to do is to AB all day. The only problem was maybe the bosses, but after a while they would be very easy to beat.
