Gief2000, those are the Ryus I hate playing against. They focus, tatsu and throw. Then random dp after you tech their first throw attempt. Ugh.
You have to punish whiffed dps harder than just throw. Run slide is better than a normal throw. He was jumping in on you too much you wisely didn’t Quac him. Quac loses to shoto j.hk. Smart. At the end you finally cr.hp his jump. You adapted. Too bad it’s online so running a set isn’t the same.

Sup guys…I have been playing El Fuerte since Vanilla and I am a decent Fuerte player…but of course I have bad matchups just like everyone here. I can do everything for the most part when it comes to El Fuerte’s combos like run stop fierce, run stop crouching forward, and all of his links that lead into run stop pressure. The main problem Im having is that when playing high level players that know the matchup getting in is a huge problem…the reason why is so difficult is because I dont know anything about frame data nor safe jump options…so I usually end up getting punished for jumping in after a knock down since they know how to deal with the mixups…is there a list of safe jumps or option selects…I found one but its from the Super version and apparently none of that stuff works in 2012. And yes I go tournaments locally here in Raleigh NC…Im part of the crew that runs those tournaments and they are called Wednesday Night Brawls and I place in top 4 consistently but the competition here is not as high as other places. Anyways if you could point me in the right direction that would be awesome and I would really appreciate it. Thank you guys.
You have the lead? Run.
Also, look up iiPeru vids. He’s an absurdly solid player and dare I say the best Fuerte on the planet right now. He’s a pretty cool dude too
Just use the Japanese wake-up method of LP+LK+MP+MK > Backdash after tatsu block to escape pressure.

densuo, please post some iPeru vids where he’s at his best. i’ve searched for iPeru vids on youtube and the ones i saw where his online games that seem to be either laggy or he just doesn’t give a crap about the match
also, can you explain why you think he’s the best Fuerte right now? just a friendly debate, but based on vids that i saw on youtube and live streams, IMO Spore is the best, Spab is 2nd and iiPeru’s 3rd.
Take the following with a heap of salt as i am vastly inferior to probably everyone.
Spab is a monster with rsp. He just goes to far with it and pays dearly for it.
I think spore got nasty setups but just find Peru to play him safer and simpler Which i find more appealing to me

In all honesty you shouldn’t have won that last round. Chun can cancel into her overhead flip thing or ex bird to get out of the AC.
Got bored. Made this.

How come you didnt show any stand short combos?
Honestly, I got tired and didn’t want to. lol
Tonight I’ll capture them and make a better video along with other bullshit combos and safejump ‘no sells’.
