Sounds like your typical Fuerte match
GGs Paper, you’re too good.
Got so much to work on >.>
I recall in a few rounds you would do cl. rh > guac. rather then rsf. was this because it was laggy?
Also, can you please critique my Fuerte? Thanks
Has anyone had the luck of finding any El Fuerte videos on Youtube? I’ve check every now and then on Youtube, and I never seem to find Japanese players, let alone TKD who has seemingly withdrawn from the scene.
They only play on Arcade. A lot of Japanese players won’t touch console with a 10-foot pole.
God’s Garden I believe was an exception.
I am pretty sure TKD is still playing vanilla because of Arcade, I expect to see him back once SSF4 gets an arcade release.
In the recent NSB 15 there was a very good player called Ebi who used Fuerte (I recall seeing his name back in Vanilla days as well), his team placed 3rd in the competition which is pretty amazing. There is a video of him in the old video thread I think, along with other videos of a japanese online Fuerte.
Something else happened to me today. Playing online.
I seem to have been looking for a workaround for my lack of rsf, that my tricks and shenanigans would help prevail.
Alas. No. It’s been said before. I’ll say it again. Without rsf, you must outplau your opponent TENFOLD.
There was a round I lost today. And the first thing my mind said was as follows:
“FUCK! If I could do RSF this round would have ended in my favor!!!”
I’ve put it off for a while. But it won’t be anymore.
I love shenanigans and the only thing I find more pleasuring in this game then getting timeout wins is outplaying the chalupas out of someone but after seeing how I induce panic with an all out assualt and giving them a respite, feeling the desperation as they give you the massive opening you need…
Squandering a small opening for the sake of getting in their head is one thing.
But any and all massive screwups is where you should be eating them alive with rsf.
I’m upset it took me this long to realize the need of it.
The worst part is, you spend so long learning rsf, and then barely get chances you use it.
That’s where the tricks and shenanigans come in though.
It doesn’t take that long to learn. I spent an hour or two every day for a week or two and learned it.
AA cl. RH should allow you to combo into air throw.
I’d rather have cl RH to Q-Bomb, Blast them into the corner, and if close enough, fadc guacamole.
Samuel L. Jackson says: I just knocked you down and put you in the corner… Now what mother$&@¥?£?!?

What?
Cmon bearbear. You tellin me you dun get it? Floorin them and having them in the corner. What’s not to like?
EDIT: I managed to play some online matches just a little bit ago. I still haven’t gotten my groove back after a week and a half of vacationing and car hunting. I hope I can fix it this weekend. I’m getting into the really bad habit of psychic Ultra Sparking, not using footsies, and milking wall jumps. This is all made worse that I haven’t been able to get a good connection lately.
Assuming my little sister doesn’t get up early, I’m going to practice El Fuerte’s loop for an hour and then practice the LP-MKxxWhatever combo for Ibuki.
Hey guys, idk if you guys saw the local tourney in brooklyn yesterday (Guard Crush 3 hosted by Team SpooKy).
but I played on live stream against evil rahsaan and if you saw, you will see me get hit by jab electricity like all the time. I kinda noticed after I got perfect on the last round 2nd game.
well basically during that game, you cant tech grab, so it requires more discipline just on the fact that, his standing jab has more reach the cr. short. and thats totally what fucked me up in the end as well as a combination of being impatient and choosing my shots poorly. but yeah ill post the vid up shortly, I’m goin to study that match up once i get online later. and if your wondering how I did. I got 17th out of 42. and I lost to another blanka player. last 3 tournaments I’ve got peaced out by a blanka. Its really disappointing imo
Skisonic perfecting SannSann was hype…him and Kai are still in this…
WHERE IS THE HYPE!!!
SkiSonic’s Perfect Dance was simply amazing. It was so fast and crazy, it was as if he had become Fuerte himself
YEAH SKISONIC lol, hopefully one of our fuertes at least get into top 8.
I posted in the other thread and wondered the same thing.
