basically they’re making him a little more like all the other characters and nerfing the shit out of everything that made him unique
Why is it that every damn change list nerfs him? He has enough problems as it is. I don’t care if he can perfect you with proper guesses, this is too much. Let’s just hope the increased frames on jab help somewhat.
I’m still going to stand by Fuerte though. As I’ve said before, live by the mask, die by the mask.

Maybe it’s sentimental value for me. Fuerte’s the first character I’ve mained in a fighting game that I’ve gotten really competitive with. It doesn’t feel right to drop Fuerte like that, and I’ve put too much effort to call it quits at this point.

I say we all the “final test” first on elf rather than just deciding to drop him permantly…so fuerte veterans have already moved on to other characters but us fuerte players are a rare bunch man…so whenever the AE drops in the U.S im going to give fuerte another run in a tournament…if I go 0-2 or 1-2 then…
This is what I don’t understand. Most of the other characters are getting safer to use looks at Sakura while Elf get’s even more unsafe. Why? Who at CAPCOM sees something that we don’t see?

I don’t understand why Fuerte would be nerfed to shit when he’s not a solid character already. At least nerf some of the shenanigan stuff but buff him so that he can compete better at higher levels. I wish there was an explanation or somebody representing Fuerte that talked to Capcom so that he could get the changes he deserves.
Im not saying im not gonna give him a chance but by the sounds of it this is finally gonna put me over the edge.

I really enjoy being the underdog, and it makes me happy to hear people telling me that they really enjoy watching me play, especially when I win.

We now have some “not particularly noticeable changes” (meaning God knows what) and that we might have a buff on Flying Giga Buster.
Unfortunately, people just ask on the more popular characters and Gen as well for some stupid reason.
btw they buffed his jab but there is nothing I see about his standing “close” jab being buffed thus I see the jab getting buffed as mehhhhhhhh at best

This is rather discouraging, seeing as how I had my hopes and dreams of doing well at EVO. Not sure how bad it’s going to be after AE comes out =\
