i think this much is true more than anything else.
your other points are very valid as well but every game has it’s bullshit. SF4 the best fighting game of all time imo, has a long laundry list of stupid shit as well.
- uppercut into safe FADC
- get your ass beat only to be rewarded with an Ultra
- Fei, Yun (AE) and Seth are too overpowered
- backdashes are even better in sf4 than sfxt
- mashing reversals are gdlk in this game
basically what im trying to say is that all fighting games have their bullshit. in the end, you just have to look at the big picture and ask yourself if you enjoy playing the game. and i love sfxt. i really really hope that hating on the game goes out of style soon.

I got depressed after Air beat me in a tournament and then I stopped playing SFxT.(I had him too I took a match from him but I could not close it out)
What it really adds up to is social pressure nobody likes this game so everyone feels they have to not like it too.
SFxT has lots of problems for sure I would be one to argue that the problems are greater than that of SF4’s problems.
If only a handful of them get fixed then it could become a good game but people have to be willing to accept it.
Marvel took some time for people to accept it and now it is a beloved game on its way to becoming a classic.
BTW I am not local I am from Vancouver. I just play with 80% of the people in this thread through online.
SFxT has done a lot to split the SF4 community…

I don’t know if this is the same bug that I’m refering to, which is the one when you press either :uf: or :ub: and :df: or :db: it has to be super precise to go in those directions on the analog stick.
If this was the bug, then my rant above is self-explanitory. If not, then I have to live with SFxT controls.

Well, at least the problem of easy inputs got fixed, thanks to the Expert Input Gem. The bad part is that people are saying that this gem has no benefit. At least give it a damage boost or something, given that inputs are harder. At least this way, you don’t get any accidental inputs caused by shortcuts.
Fuck auto/assist gems.
Tournament Organizers should make the Expert Input Gem mandatory for all future tournaments and make it the only legal gem. =D Or at the very least, give the player the option to use it.
A set with Bee is always a good set - why would I money match someone I respect as a player and who I already get to play fairly regularly (same goes for love…jimmy…etc)? The only people it makes sense for me to money match are players far better than me (such as an out of town pro) or far weaker than me (randoms like you).
Besides, aren’t you the same guy that gets 10-0’ed in money matches by people I 5-0 in money matches? I’ll put up my $500 against your $50 in a ft10, what now?? Want to put your money where your mouth is? Until then you’re all talk!

My point is was that I’ve been playing a broken/harder version of this game since launch, which was my main complaint for this game. I’m pretty sure most of you know that I only use the analog on the xbox pad. I mentioned this because I’ve not herd this information at all. So, during that time, I thought I was terrible at that game (which I am in a way) but it was the game itself that costed me more matches then I could of thought of. On the bright side, I can pick up this game again properly and play it the way it was ment to be.
Don’t worry, they’ll fix it in a $15 DLC.
