I consider bee to be one of the few people I would rather play with, along with love, mai, and kevin. If I had as much time as you did, I would be playing. But I cant since I have exams and projects to finish up all the time. If I wanted to get as good as Bee, I would have to play 10x more than I would if I have the free time.
I watched the games between you and Shiro, and it was pretty even. The games between you and love were pretty 1 sided. It seems you have gotten better, since the last time I played you (like 3 months ago)

The hell, what kind of mentality is that…I’m pretty sure none of the top players in Edmonton actually share that sentiment here.
If I lose to someone it only makes me want to play them more. If you only want to play people that you think you can beat you’ll just stay scrubby. I only play this game once a week and that one time I’d rather fight the top player than constantly beat someone who’s only decent.
There is a group that meets up on every second Monday at BPs to play sf / mvc / sfxt / kof / blah blah blah. Email cf.edmonton@gmail.com to find out if there are enough spots available because there is limited seating. Shiro hosts sf / mvc / sfxt every Sunday at his casa and streams it. There is a tournament coming. It’s always cool to get to play some sf and check out some rad cars. That’s all I can think of.

I’m not a top player but i have sat down and had david whoop my ass in marvel and YOU paul in 3s like a million games to 1 I never thinkoof quiting I don’t count wins and losses, I look at whether or not I am learning or not.
I have yet to win a tournament in Edmonton for Marvel, but that will not stop me from trying. I see Bee in a bracket against me and I miiight just say FUCK YOU BEE but that is really just jokes, I’ll go on to play and give it what I got.

I remember you mentioning that you were going to come out and I kept asking random people at the tournament if they were madcat or whatever name you were using at the time. It was the only time I ever beat Paul in a tournament. I lost the first match and jj was all like pick guile. I picked Chun and won anyways. Killey was beasting at that tournament iirc. Got 3rd or 4th behind Jones and Bee.

After careful consideration and exhaustive research, I have compiled a list of some of Edmonton’s UMVC3 players based on relative ability to beat Owen.
Based on today’s skill level in a FT10, here is how I think the players would rank (keep in mind team composition matters as Jimmy’s team is much weaker to Owen’s team than Jones, for instance):
Bee: 10-0
Me: 10-1
Detrimantix*: 10-1
James Jones*: 10-1
Love: 10-2
Alex: 10-5
Jimmy: 10-7
*Based on last known skill level.
Summary:
Mathematically, Love’s Hulk is about 5 times better than Owen’s, Dave and JJ are question marks because they have been MIA, I’m about 10 times better than Owen and Bee is infinitely better than Owen.
This should should be the definite last word on the matter, so everyone please bask in my knowledge and fill your minds with enlightenment.
