haha no. when i visit it’s mostly a whirlwind of family / friends / food. i have certainly eaten a lot of food at newton circus, though.

Games at my place tonight
Hey everyone. I’m currently rethinking whether or not I want to host a tournament in June. For one thing, Student Group Services is forcing every student group to basically go through the entire group registration progress again for the 2013-2014 year, even though we got our group constitution approved less than two months ago. I even have to go back and re-edit huge parts of the constitution that were already approved so I can define policies for “meetings” that we’re not even going to have.
On top of this, I need to submit another signed liability form in person to the SGS office, so that means I need to both get a signature from Zach, Colin or Ryan and find time during my work week to make it to the university and also get to work on time. And then we have to wait for SGS to approve the constitution. If they reject it again, I have to get the liability form signed AGAIN. I can’t even book the room for the tournament until the group is approved again.
So in less than a month to plan this thing and not having a guaranteed venue, I don’t know if I’ll be able to put together a good tourney by myself. In addition, I have a full time job now and other stuff going on, so I won’t really have a lot of time to put into planning this thing.
I’m sorry if any of you are majorly disappointed.
