The thing about stored charges is it only works until you get a full charge. If you wait 2 seconds and then dash, you lose the charge for sure. So you can charge for 1 second, dash, charge the rest of the way while you’re dashing, and press up+kick.
There was a Japanese site that went way too much into detail on this shit. When you let go of down or back, whatever you’re charging, you have 1/3 of a second to bring the stick back or do the move before you lose your charge.
