Can we be allowed to edit thread titles again?

the only settign i saw was original owner of the thread, can edit their own titles. it is enabled.

What does that even mean? If I’m not the original owner of a thread that I created then who is? Was the switch to Xenforo really worth it? We lost a lot of useful features such as:

  • Editing thread titles
  • Ignore list
  • Customized posts per page

In exchange for what exactly? A gimmicky “like” button and pointless achievements?

Where do we find that? I looked for it under Edit Original Post and couldn’t find it.

I know change is hard, but this software is much more advanced. If you dont like the new changes, you can go browse gamefaqs.

The cache isnt rebuilt yet, so it might work after that. In the mean time, go make a new thread, then try to edit the title and see if it works.

You know, actually be useful in running down a possible bug.

1: Xenforo and vBulletin are the same. However, vBulletin 4.0 is the worst of all time. Therefore, Xenforo is now better than vBulletin.
2: Why are they the same? The one that created Xenforo were former staffs from vBulletin.com.
3: This is his website. He can do what he desired. If you’re not enjoying it. Well, you have two options. Either zip it or move out. The website is free and you’re not obligated to stay here.
4: If you gave this software a chance. You’ll see that it’s more better than vBulletin at this point. However, you’re just bitching on it’s 2nd day that Wiz released on Monday.
5: All of the features are coming back slowly 1 by 1. Accept it and move on.

Yeah you’re right, I’m just being a bit salty. I apologize for being a bit harsh but I guess backlash is just a part of change.

We all hate changes. But, down the road, it gets better and better. Sooner, we’ll be like “Damn, this shit is badass than before.” I hated YouTube layout, now it’s improving. That applies to Facebook. Give Wiz a chance and we’ll see the board up and running at 100% again. :slight_smile:

  1. I can’t stand anymore of this retarted logic. Xenforo and vBulletin are the **same **yet they are different (because Xenforo is supposely better? lol) This is just stupid.
  2. Schindler’s List and Jurassic Park are both produced and directed by the same person Steven Spielburg. Are they the same? freaking genius.
  3. MrWizard is the owner and can do whatever he wants. No one is in here argue about that. However this doesn’t mean he is not misinformed by a small group of people who purpose for the change to a some untested software v.1.0. If this is a company with accountability (which it is not), whoever purposed for the chance would probably be let go.
  4. You guys create the “new-site-bugs-glitches-and-feedback” forum, not us. You are already bitching on the 2nd day we gave u the constructive feedback? If you can’t take this, why don’t u just closed down the whole feedback forum and wear earplugs?
  5. Xenforo 1.0.1 is less featured than vBulletin 3.8. And the switch would be a failure if this premature born Xenforo 1.01 can’t make it out lifesupport. Accept it and move on.

Well until y’all figure out how to unable users edit thread titles, can you at least change this thread title to Elite Zone - Fayetteville, NC - TBA

I’m trying to run a monthly tournament series and I would prefer to just keep one thread and edit the title with a new date every month. We don’t have a new date settled yet so I want it to just say TBA for now. So yeah I would like the “weekly session / monthly tournament” part removed as well cause I think it’s a bit unnecessary and clutters the title.

Thanks, was about to ask how but I see what I’m supposed to do. Either I click on thread tools at the top right of my post or I go to edit listed next to my thread on the thread list.
