I liked Duck Dodgers. Great show. More proof that Daffy > Bugs. Condescending Porky was icing on the cake. Martian Queen was fap material back in the day. It’s essential for every cartoon that isn’t aimed toward toddlers to have fap material.
Megas XLR is a good example of a western show that borrows concepts from eastern cartoons without trying to imitate them. Another good show.
the first two seasons were great. the 3rd season was so-so, but still watchable. the 4th season was just dumb. and the last two seasons were blasphemous. in fact, season 6 was one episode and the series finale movie.
Adventure Time and Regular Show are better than anything else CN is running these days. With that said, they pale in comparison to “Back-in-the-Day”, imo.
Wasn’t it Grim & Evil from 01-03? I didn’t like the show in the beginning, but it picked up in 2005 and I liked it ever since. Shits so cash to watch while faded.
Billy & Mandy was alright. I only watched it for Mandy though, so if Mandy wasn’t really in the episode or Evil Con Carne was on, I didn’t care. Her dark and mellow demeanor was intriguing. Did not like how they turned Billy’s dad into an idiot or how they made Irwin say “Yo” all the time to make him seem more black. Dude is a short fat Steve Urkel. I did like Grim’s Jamaican accent.
I didn’t like Evil Con Carne too much. Ghastly was the appeal of the show for me, and her character was shallow. I hated that Con Carne’s character was attached to that stupid bear (Billy 2.0).Cod commando was pretty badass though. I don’t think Con Carne ever found another body for his brain…meh who cares.
You know JBV’s producers were salty at the fact that their show paled in comparison to DBZ.
DBZ brought in 2mil+ viewers on a daily basis from 2000-2003, and even at the lowest point, they still got over 1 million viewers. Cartoon Network and Funi also made a killing off of DBZ merchandise.
The highest Bravo has ever gotten was 950k, which was the premier of the first episode. Ever since then, the show got mediocre ratings, with ranges from 700-850k. There was also a small toy line, but no one ever bought JBV action figures.
