I’m just going to leave this here.
Yeah, it’s got Toonami in the title, but it’s got a lot of the classic Cartoon Cartoons that people have been talking about ITT. The What a Cartoon show actually spawned most of the stuff that people are all about these days; Family Guy was piloted there, Whatever Happened to Robot Jones, Sheep in the Big City, Powerpuff Girls, Dexter’s Lab, Johnny Bravo, Cow & Chicken, Courage…the list goes on. Never liked KND, Evil con Carne was underrated, Mike, Lu & Og was underrated, Time Squad was underrated, Class of 3000 was underrated. Total Drama Island, etc. was garbage, everything live action was HOT garbage (except for the fact that AWK showed up on Destroy Build Destroy, the rest of that show can rot).
Lastly, I’m glad that the first hit on YouTube for “King Ramses” is this:

Do 12 year old girls count as weaboos though? That show makes a lot more sense when you realize it’s a girls show.
PPG was the only show that took on anime right, and they did it by GETTING RIGHT IN ITS FUCKING FACE!

Went back and read the whole thread, not enough love for the current shows.
Adventure Time is probably the best thing CN has shown yet, and Regular Show is totally up there, if not quite at that very tip-top level.
Adventure Time and Regular show are great. They have that feel of edgy randomness old nicktoons like Ren & Stimpy or Roccos modern life did.
