ecKsniNe's Custom Arcade Sticks

Ecks, I repeat it again in your own thread:

You are hereby officially awesome!

Just love your work!

Dude, I really really like how your Cases are slim.
They look so nice.
Like candy bar.
Laugh.

Wiring is super clean too.

I feel like buying a Custom from you. :3

Or just a Case.
But then I wouldn’t get the cool wiring.

Super awesome! Really nice and clean sticks!

Btw, Ecks, no pics yet of a finished thin sided mahagony box?

If you don’t mind, I’ll post pics soon of your thin sided box here in this thread when I’m finished putting it together tonight. The parts and the artwork have finally arrived. Well, not all of them, I’m still waiting for the 24mm seimitsu buttons for the back and the cthulhu, but I’ll guess I’ll temporarily “sacrifice” my 360 pcb and the 3 red buttons from my own ryu-stick built.

Wow those sticks are beautiful. They’re more like pieces of furniture. I wouldn’t want to use it, just display it!

How long do those take to build (just the cases).

Those are some of the cleanest, most impressive sticks I have seen on these boards.

Excellent work!

very nice work

how do you join the edges and they come up so flat? you only glue em and thats it?

do u plan selling ur custom sticks. thanks

Yep, he sell’s them.

(and no, I am in no way affiliated with Ecks, i just think he builds very beautiful sticks :bgrin: )

Craig’s sticks are beautiful and very well made. I have a mahogany and am currently waiting on a zebrawood to come in. Definately one of the best built sticks I’ve seen in awhile.

I would love to see some inside pics of the CMVS. That’s incredible, easily one of the best consolization jobs I have ever seen.

Here is a crappy cellphone pic of the one he made me (just the case, I created the artwork and provided buttons/joystick, as well as the custom button layout that he didnt like :p)

I still need to get a real camera so i can take a lot of pics of it.

Hey this is my stick! I have to say that Craig aka ecKsniNe is the man! The transaction was simple with no hastle what so ever. He answered all of my noob questions at all hours of the day. He even went out of his way so that I could have custom one off art work done. (Thanks Dennis) I cant say enough on how beautiful and slim this box is. Ive purchased two other cases from vendors and they didnt even come close to this!

Hit him up for a custom build or even a case! Ill post pictures as soon as Im finish with the wiring!

-Omar

i gotta agree too, when i got the actual box i was very impressed with the build quality. it actually surpassed my expectations.

Haha thanks bro! I can’t wait to see your build in my box!

You can get that kind of wiring! Just requires patience and planning, and cable sleeving.

Hey thanks man!

Nope! The other ones I sold to people who haven’t sent me any pics yet.
I’m sure ill get flooded one day with like 10 different customers pictures of there finished sticks in my box. That’s how it seems to go, lol.

Haha, I know how you feel. I work so much on them, I hate to even send them out.

Thanks a lot. I appreciate it.

Thanks. I use Titebond III on the edges and the blocks. Titebond is very strong, I glued 2 pieces of wood together once and tried to snap them apart with my hands and I couldn’t do it. And if you do break a joint with titebond III on it, the wood will break off before the actual glue bond.
The edges being perfect is a product of having square cuts to start with and then having a good clamp. I use irwin speedgrips, or if I need a really tight clamp i use pipe clamps.

Yes sir, I have a website. www.ecksnine.com

I can get empty boxes out next day or the day after. Wired sticks have a wait time as I currently have quite a few in a row to do.

ecksnine: you’re truly skilled ! Amazing finish !

Excellent quality

My props!

I love this guy.
Btw your zebrawood case is going to ship today. Enjoy!

Well the wiring is going to be done by a guy I know named James. He is the wiring master and I defer to him for questions frequently. Here is how the board sits inside though.

Sup pur! Glad to finally see a pic! And yes, You do need a camera, and a drill. :D!!
