Hey all, this is my first post here, so excuse me if I’m being a bit forward. Anyway, I’m wondering, any players up for matches in eastern PA? I myself an in the Allentown-Bethlehem-Easton area (guess which!), which is in good distance of NJ but just far away enough that New York is a hassle to get too. But anything more local would be of course, much nicer. I play Tekken 3/Tag, VF4, and KoF mainly (well, Killer Instinct too, but I’m guessing thats a moot point nowadays), and dabble around in some other stuff as well (Bushido Blade, CvS2, SF Alpha) Additionally I got a few of me mates here are more into that Capcom stuff (one of them even purports to be a Rival Schools expert… I didn’t even know those existed! :rolleyes:

i dont live in PA but my one friend has family in like hershey PA…he lives like 10 min from the hershey park. i go up to PA wit him every now and then…hes goin soon so if you all live by there maybe we should get up
I think I’ve been to Hershey park before. Hershey’s actually way out of the way (3 hours I think? Its been a while.) from where I am… though it is actually pretty close to where the 3s Masta is.
edit: Ok, after just checking it, its actually much closer to me then I thought, little more then an hour away. My guess is its actually close to where 3s Masta is, so we could meet up.

Heh, I totally forgot about Philly. Is there a lot of fighting games players there (being a big city and all)? I remember when I used to live there going by the arcades now and then, but I can’t remember what they had there at all.
philly is a great place to play esp. around 40th street. Im more of capcom fan, mainly x-men vs street fighter. Anyone intrested let me know.

Yo, I lived in Allentown all my life, up till about 6 monthes when i left for Austin. It will always be my hometown and i was such a huge fighting game fan that i knew almsot everyone who played at arcades(WEll TImeOut at Lehigh Vally all is the only one that really counts anymore), owned or worked at a video game store, or hung out at Nerv Center, or anywhere else where ppl who game meet up, i,e The Encounter,The Portal, The Adventurers’ Realm(though it closed before i left) or hmm, Well might as well name the gamestores as well then. The Control Pad,Microplay(sadly closed as well),hmm, that’s about it for places i guess. Well if any of those sound familiar then we may have met sumhowthinking
For years i searched for peeps to play, i met a few and they were ok, mainly tryed to set up stuff at NervCenter, though i never thought to search around around online till I oved away and found out what it’s like to see an already established scene(cuz I’m dumb i guess)
I’d say i was High Tier in Allentown, and about Mid-tier here in Austin. Though I’m sure with comp anyoe could be jsut as good and i betting better. I have friends in Allentown still who have no way of meeting more peeps who play so i figure i can hook them up so that when i come back to game they can have a chance;D
If i can find peeps online who are that much into to it to post about gatherings then i can tell them al to get thier asses online and find that they are not alone…that is if they really arn’t alone looks around

Sorry for not replying, shinhiko… I’ve been busier with college then I expected. I’ve been to a few of those game stores but most of them I haven’t heard of (maybe they closed down) Anyway if you got any friends who play over here give 'em a holler and tell them to get on SRK sometime!
