John and I are working out this hotel situation right now. We asked for 75 rooms… No way they are booked already… One of us will post in a little bit with the update.
John just called and tried to book a fake room under the event name then I tried 5 seconds after him and everything was fine. He booked a room for sat/sun and I tried to book it for fri/sun. Not sure what you did Eric hahaha maybe the person you spoke to had no idea what he/she was doing? Call up now!!! While someone is there who knows what she is doing!

Yea, we called the hotel trying to book rooms and it was fine. Just make sure you mention the event name and you should be fine. IDK what was up with them telling you no.

imo it should be fought for but justins the captain so i gotta fight with what i get.

id much rather prove myself with sagat though, so im not disputing his auto-spot.
joe is sick and always places like top 3 at majors.
if justin is going to use auto-spots he might as well just use the top 5 most consistent ppl which are prolly:
justin, joe, marn, eric v, nestor, arturo fix of these six.
maybe he should just do a round robin between ppl that have placed top 8 in the past 3 ec majors (sinsation, nec, gvn, east coast throwdown etc w/e)
Are mirror matches the best way to find the best of a certain character though? I’m not too sure about that. Maybe just have everyone play in the qualifier tournament and have the people that advanced the farthest in the tourney with a certain character (Boxer and Sagat are the characters in question I suppose) be in the team. But then there are things like the road you had to take in the bracket (was it challenging, etc.) that come in question. 
I could not agree more…nobody deserves a guaranteed spot but Justin…this 5v5 don’t won’t mean jack if it isn’t set up right/fair…I vote for a FREE Balrog & Sagat ONLY tourney to determine the best player using these characters on our coast.
Then after we stick to the plan for the other 2 open spots…PLAY IT OUT???
